In the shadows of the Ancient Corinthian fortress mount and in between grape yards, cypress, orange and lemon trees, this exclusive Villa offers stunning views of the surrounding Peloponnese rural landscape, a small and tasteful bio fruit and vegetable produce cultivated in the land next to the Villa, a 12 meter pool to cool of during the hot summer days, a fireplace for winter days, a generous front and a back yard (situated in a 2ooo m2 plot) with patios, built-in BBQ, that can all guarantee quiet long family evenings all year long.

It is situated 1 hour from the International El Venizelos Athens airport and in proximity to the busy town of Corinth and the beaches (15 minute drive). As day excursions one can visit the Temple of Apollo, the Archeological museum of Corinth, AcroCorinthos, while the world known ancient Theater of Epidavros is about 45 minute drive. The possibilities are numerous and easily accessible from the Villa as a base point.

Lovely big house with fab swimming pool

We really enjoyed our stay at the house - we did have a few niggles and the property could certainly do with a bit of tlc. Hopefully over the winter the issues that need attention will be sorted.

Private getaway

George replied quickly to any messages, directions good as it would be easy to miss without help. It seemed like a family property so lots of bits and bobs, charcoal etc which we used and replaced. Some road noise from behind the pool wall but take a speaker and you probably wouldn’t hear it. Defo need a car. Even though the village isn’t far it would be a fair walk. The pool was fabulous. Nice and deep also very clean. Good Wi-Fi. Very relaxing holiday thank you.

Active wacation

The villa is quiet and remote sitting on a generous landscape and garden. It is a great base for daily excursions around Korinth’s attractions. Extremely kind hosts.

NICE VILLA, SHAME ABOUT THE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY

We are a family of five, a couple with three teenagers, and we chose this villa for its rural charm, peaceful location and big pool. The pool is great – big, a lovely temperature and always very clean with no obvious sign of chemicals. The view of mountains from the pool is wonderful. There is very little space around the pool for hanging out but that is clear from the photos. However, what is not clear is that the villa OVERLOOKS A VERY BUSY AND VERY NOISY DUAL CARRIAGEWAY (THE A7). The A7 is screened by the yellow wall you can see in the photos but easily audible around the pool area and from the master bedroom (it woke me up early a couple of times). This should be prominently mentioned in the villa information as it’s really intrusive and we would not have booked the villa if we’d known about it. Other negatives include: the pool lights were not working so sadly we couldn’t swim in the late evenings; the master bed is only 4ft wide; the separate toilet was not working; I agree with a previous reviewer – there is way too much personal paraphernalia around the villa! Overall, the villa would benefit from some time and money spent on it because it feels a little unloved – the outside furniture is a bit broken and shabby, the bedlinens need replacing etc. These things didn’t bother us unduly but they do need looking at. To balance these negatives, there were many things we loved about this property, besides the pool: *The gardens and views are beautiful and it was a great pleasure to sit on the terrace with the smell of jasmine. *The villa is spacious and comfortable and the layout worked well for us – three bedrooms (basic) and a bathroom in one ‘wing’, separated off from the master bedroom so there was plenty of privacy. * The air con and wifi are fine, no problems. *The kitchen is big, very well-equipped (no microwave) and air conditioned, so it’s great to work in. We especially appreciated the large fridge-freezer with ice maker and water filter. *There are surprisingly few bugs for the rural setting, although they are big. The mosquitoes are a nuisance but that is to be expected. The blinds, shutters, screens etc are very efficient. *The villa is not spotlessly clean but I thought it was perfectly clean enough considering its setting and it feels homely. All in all, we did enjoy our stay and the villa has some very special qualities. Sadly, for us, the road noise was a big surprise and a big disappointment and means we would not return.
