Originally a village house and adjoining barn, Maison Rose has been lovingly transformed into a luxurious self-catering villa and two apartments with large private pool. Situated in the village of Cipieres, near Grasse, you’re only 45 min from Nice and the delights of the French Riviera.

Set in its own garden and occupying a privileged south facing position, the pool and sun terraces offer the perfect location for relaxing, enjoying the climate and taking in the spectacular mountain scenery.

The villa and apartments offer generous accommodation and are well equipped with modern appliances and free WiFi. Most bedrooms have en-suite facilities with the master rooms boasting super-king size beds from the Savoy Hotel in London.

Our English speaking caretaker is on hand to welcome you and make sure you enjoy your stay. He can provide you with home grown organic vegetables and order local produce from the nearby farm. Cipieres is noted for its goats cheese and delicious honey!

Location: Cipieres is ideally located away from it all, yet at the same time close enough to the coast to explore Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Vence, Grasse and St. Paul de Vence.

Cipieres is among many perched villages in the region and close by to the famous perched village of Gourdon with its Chateau, gardens and tourist boutiques. Definitely worth a visit! Cipieres, however remains relatively unknown and unspoiled.

The road to the village terminates in the village square making it a wonderful undiscovered enclave, overlooking the spectacular Gorges du Loup, and particularly safe for children who can wonder to the village shop with no danger.

Activities: Cipieres is surrounded by things to do ranging from the very active (see extreme sports) to the very indulgent.

Of course the obvious is swimming, relaxing, eating and drinking, but a little further afield there is a great deal more. The neighboring village of Greolieres has several tennis courts which can be booked. The area is magnificent for walking and climbing. there are several very famous and well signposted walks.

The cultural sights of the area are numerous, but perhaps it is worth mentioning the Matisse Chapel in Vence and the Fondation Maeght in St. Paul de Vence as well as the Picasso Museum in Antibes. There are many good golf courses within 30 minutes drive.

Hang gliding, Para gliding, Cycling, Kayaking, Gliding, Mountain Climbing and Go Karting

The living room is comfortable, light and airy. French doors lead on to a huge private sun terrace with stunning mountain views.

The kitchen/dining area is spacious and well equipped, perfect for entertaining and indulging in the culinary delights of the region.

The large terrace has table and chairs and a BBQ for alfresco dining. Sun loungers, parasols and use of the large heated pool enable you to make the most of the Mediterranean climate.

The swimming pool measures a generous 12m x 6m and occupies a sheltered south facing position, getting sun all day. It is usually heated from May through to October. The pool is maintained every day, ensuring it is kept clean.

* The pool is shared between the three properties but we ask tenants from the apartments to use their own terraces for sunbathing, allowing everyone their privacy.

We had a wonderful stay in Cipieres. The caretaker was very welcoming and helpful and had organised some basic supplies for us as we arrived quite late. The apartment itself was clean and well furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. The views from the terrace were fantastic. Our daughters loved the swimming pool and exploring the gardens. We had a day out on the coast and managed some sightseeing aswell. All in all we had a great holiday!

Dorfhaus in Cipieres

Beschreibung verspricht mehr als sie halten kann. Es handelt sich um ein typisches französisches Dorfhaus mit 3 Wohnungen. Das von uns gemietete Appartement war in einem einfachen französischen Standard eingerichtet. Ausnahme waren die Betten, die wirklich sehr gut waren. Der Gesamtzustand war auch typisch französisch, einfache, zum Teil alte Möbel, die Fliesenböden haben vor allem in der Küche (was Helligkeit angeht ein Loch, man hat sich dort nicht gerne aufgehalten) an Sauberkeit zu Wünschen übriggelassen. Generationen von Köchen haben Flecken hinterlassen, die nie entfernt wurden. Das Geschirr haben wir vor Gebrauch gespült, das es schmutzig war. Unsere Ankunft war dem "Caretaker" auch nicht bekannt!!! Er wusste nichts davon. In der Beschreibung stimmt das Wort luxuriös und komfortabel einfach nicht. Darunter verstehen wir etwas anderes. Der Pool hat auch nicht sehr sauber ausgesehen, wie auch die Terrasse, die noch nicht einmal für unsere Ankunft gefegt war, aus den Fliesen um den Pool wucherte das Gras, also alles nicht gerade luxuriös. Ansonsten istder Ort sehr ruhig gelegen, für absolut Erholung Suchende und Wanderer gut.

  • Wheel Chair access is not suitable due to the width of the doors, however the entrance is on the ground floor and there are only a few single steps internally. The flat is well equipped and is a home from home. Well heated in winter and remarkably cool in summer, the flat is truly comfortable, 5 star accommodation. Perfect for a vacation rental or longer stay. The terrace is large (35sq m), has a BBQ, stone table and benches, parasol and sun loungers. This self catering accommodation is much more than it seems - luxurious, well equipped with all facilities, WiFi, resident caretaker, small library, use of large swimming pool, satellite television, large terrace, garden etc. All linen, towels, swimming pool towels, toweling robes are provided. A cleaner and/or a chef can be arranged by request.
