The furnishings are to a high standard and offer plenty of storage and wardrobe space.

Sol Pins, Tamariu

These great 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartments are in a modern block of apartments that ideally located within a few minutes walk of the beach, shops and restaurants of the popular resort of Tamariu. There are either one double bed and a set of bunk beds with an additional pull out bed making it great for 5 or one double bed and a set of twins for 4. The fully fitted kitchen has dishwasher and microwave and well and the oven, hob and washing machine. The baloney has great views of the gardens, pool area and the surrounding pine wood forests. The gardens and communal areas of the apartments are maintained to a very high standard. The facilities include a lift. Tamariu is a very popular a beautiful seaside village. The small bay is surrounded by a rocky hillside which means as well as a pretty sandy beach there are some great locations for snorkelling and diving too. Many of the fabulous restaurants surround the lovely cove where there is also a night market which adds great ambiance to already beautiful cove.

The overall property was fine !

The major problem was we were at the property for 1 week in a "top" floor (5th) apartment and the elevator did not work for 3 of those days. The most agrivating was having to checkout and carry all of our luggage down 5 flights. The elevators are OLD and a major problem !!!!

Sol Pins apartment comments

First impressions were great. Modern building although the slope of the hill is acute - feels like 1 in 1!! Also entering the apartment was good. It's spacious with a modern feel and stylish decoration. It was clean and well maintained. There is a space in the ground floor garage which keeps your vehicle safe and cool.


Good size with TV and dvd/CD/mp3 player. Comfy furniture and spacious.

Bedroom 1.

Good size with lots of storage. Bed is appalling; it looks little more than a camp bed. Wood slatted base with a low quality 4" ish thick mattress. Not what I'd expect for this style of apartment.

Bedroom 2.

We only used this for storage but a good size with 2 cabin beds for kids.


Good size with a small breakfast bar for 2. Good range of equipment and lots of cutlery but a strange mix of cups and glasses - could do with coffee mugs and highball glasses. A door leads to a utility balcony with half slatted walls on the outside. Great use of space with a washing machine, airer and sink in it.


Clean and good quality fittings. The window opens into a ventilation shaft(?) and you can easily hear other residents through it.


Good size with round table and 4 chairs at one end. At other end is 1 sun lounger - why only 1?! But the view is gorgeous.

Overall a peaceful location and a short 10 min walk into the village resort. The pool is enormous but cool. Sadly there are no loungers or any seating around the pool - maybe it got nicked at night by the locals! The apartment needs a good bed and a second lounger to bring it up to spec.

On the other side of the road to the apartment building is a BBQ/grill restaurant where the food and service is excellent.

The local town resort is in a small, lovely bay. Sand is yellow and lovely with lots of space. On it is a facility to hire kayaks and facing the beach is a dive school/hire shop. Around the beach are several restaurants which offer a variety of food and are clean and well maintained - service was very good. Beyond them into the town are a few restaurants, houses, flats, hotels and 3 supermarkets including a very well stocked Spar newly opened.

It's a great apartment and location for a relaxed and chilled holiday

I will pass on your comments to the owner of the property regarding the bed - although these are typical beds for Spain - devan style beds are not the norm here. Also regarding the sun lounger - I am not sure there is room on the terrace for two sun loungers plus the table and chairs - but it is certainly something we can look at, perhaps when the apartment is only occupied by two people. Excellent, exactly as described.

We had a great holiday, the manager provided very good instructions on how to get to the apartment and some local information. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The pool and the gardens were beautiful, looked after by a very friendly gentleman. We would certainly recommend the property to friends or family and would book it again if we revisited the area.

Great apartment

Great value for money apartment. Spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location. Garden and pool area immaculate. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Louisa very easy to deal with and a seamless booking process.

Great location and apartment.;

Walking distance (approx. 800 m.) to the fabulous restaurants and the beach in Tamariu. The choice of great restaurants right on the beach means there is little need to leave the immediate area although the famous area of Calella and Llafranc are just a short drive away as is the large market town of Palafrugell. The medieval hill top villages of Pals and Begur are ideal for some great designer shops, huge range of restaurants and great views.
