Villa Saxo is an architectural masterpiece designed by international award winner architect, Benjamin Garcia Saxe. This luxury home and its guest house, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and National Forest Reserve are located “Off the Road Less Traveled”. Relax and enjoy being away from it all and at the same time only a 15 minute drive to the various beaches, restaurants, activities and tourist centers. Walk around our garden and private trails, observe monkeys and birds, and admire spectacular sunsets from the pool.

The main house has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a large pool. It sleeps 6 comfortably. Its guest house has 1 room 1 bathroom and a smaller pool, it is perfect for 2. The guest house has been design to be fully wheelchair accessible. Both are very spacious and comfortable, and with a panoramic view from every rooms and bathrooms. The main house and the guest house can be rented together or separately.
Villa Saxo is very appropriate for family or friend gatherings. It is fully furnished and the large kitchen has all the utensils and appliances necessary to cook big meals.

The entire 5 acre property, including the 2 houses and pools, the tropical garden and our family teak plantation is fully accessible to our guest.


We live on the neighboring property and we are available 24/7 in case of a problem or emergency. We are here to answer any question. The safety, privacy and comfort of our guest are of most importance to us.

We are secluded and surrounded by one of the richest ecosystem on the planet. Our private roads and trails are perfect for hiking. We are located 30 minutes from Tamarindo and Santa Cruz, 1 ¼ hour to Liberia International Airport and just 15 minutes to Playa Junquillal, restaurants, and activities such as surfing lessons, horseback riding tours, and zip lining experience.
