Wonderful stay!
This house was so comfortable and clean! Our family had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and easy access to the stunning beach and surrounding amenities. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect Family Beach Vacation
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we had a lovely stay at the Madeira Beach House. Perfect little house for our family vacation. we loved having our own pool (paradise) and having multiple gates/locks around the pool gave us a piece of mind since we were traveling with our young grandchildren. The house was clean upon arrival and was stocked with all the things we needed to get us started. Would most definitely recommend staying here!

Quirks of a 1940’s cottage
A cottage this old will have some quirks. AC had to be added so bathrooms are not cooled/heated-add a curtain to front bathroom to keep the sun/heat out. Bring a fan although one was provided. Kitchen could use some additional amenities but appliances are fairly new. Clean the coffeemaker (no pod coffee maker available) and turn the refrigerator door around. Pool, back porch, and location are great! (Clean up all the discarded beach and pool items, outdoor shower needs attention) 4 adult, 2 kids. We didn’t have to use the squeaky bed. The ones we did use slept well. AND, we would stay here again! Not enough ‘quirks’ to keep us away.

A/C broken - otherwise a decent stay in every other regard.
I've never been the one to leave reviews for places that I stay at, but the experience my family and I had here was worth putting down for others to see. My family and I had to endure a faulty air conditioning system for a full week in Florida heat that was always 90 degrees and up. Upon arriving at the place, we immediately took notice to the thermostat showing 78 degrees. The first thing we did was put it down by 4 and never touched it for the whole trip. To our surprise, the thermostat would never change, and it actually went UP to 79 degrees. We called the NextHome Beach Time Realty (the company who overwatches operations and guest requests for this property) and they replied almost instantly on the first day. We had a technician get sent over the following day, and still nothing- the guy was not able to get anything fixed and we still had to endure an extremely hot household during Florida heat for a whole week. If it wasn't for the fans in every bedroom, I would've requested a refund and returned home. This is mainly a bigger complaint due to now having a 5 month old baby with us who now also had to deal with an air conditioning system not working during peak summer heat like this. For the 40 years my family and I have been renting condominiums and beach houses every summer, it's always been a pleasant time. I hate having to write a bad review, but I would also hate for people outside of the state to come to this beach house and then have to suffer in the heat.
