This clean and comfortable home is located in Solana Resort, Davenport FL 33897, a guard gated resort with clubhouse and many amenities about 9 miles to Disney Main Gate, easy access to all other attractions in Orlando, and about 32 miles to Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Come and relax with your family and friends at our beautifully decorated large vacation home. It features 6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and almost all of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. With 2 living areas and large fully equipped kitchen, less than 2 miles to supermarket, plus Uber eats and all other food delivery services and restaurants nearby, it's perfect for your family to relax together and enjoy each other's company. The fabulous SOUTH-FACING PRIVATE pool with child safety pool fence and no rear neighbor, plus free usage of all baby gears ( crib and highchair and stroller), in-house washer/dryer provide all of you more fun and relaxation after a long day in Disney or a day trip to beaches on the East or West coast.

This home is ideally situated in the popular Solana Resort in Davenport Florida, a 24x7 guard-gated resort with clubhouse, which is located on US 27 between Rt 192 and Highway I-4. It's known as the 'Golden Triangle' of vacation villas. Solana Resort is the perfect spot. It is very close to the I-4 at Champions Gate, which will take you to Disney, SeaWorld, Universal, Discovery Cove, ESPN, beaches on the east and west coasts, shopping malls, several championship golf courses, Busch Gardens, and the Space Centre. It certainly has the best of all worlds. At the heart of the resort, steps away from this villa, there is a recreation area, Internet Cafe, fitness room, huge pool and SPA, interactive children's play areas, mini golf course, sand volleyball, Tiki bar, sundry shop, newspaper and children's library, as well as free DVD and golf club rental. Take a scenic stroll around the area which is surrounded by palm trees or take a 5-minute drive, which will take you to the busy Rt 192 area with crazy golf, restaurants, and shops galore. For the avid golfer, there is the gorgeous Champions Gate Golf Course a few miles away (two 18 hole courses both designed by Greg Norman).

Needs a lot of work !! Beware!!

The address listed is not the address of the property. The owner did make me aware of this before booking. The house itself is ok. It needs a lot of work. It really needs a fresh paint job. The microwave door is broken. Several lights don't work. There are wires sticking out of the wall in the garage. The pool sticks need replacing. The oven sensor came on while we were there and wouldn't go off. 5 out of 8 pool chairs were broken when we arrived. We paid extra for pool heat, I got in the hot tub and was immediately electrocuted twice by one of the jets. We let the owner know and she basically called me a liar saying that there was no way I could have been electrocuted in the hot tub because since it didn't have lights in it, it didn't have electricity to electrocute me. My father is a certified pool technician and used to work for the power company, so he knows its possible. They sent out several people to check it out and supposedly fixed it the next day, so I tried again and was once again electrocuted. I asked if we could possibly be moved to another house and was told that, that wouldn't work because she couldn't guarantee that the same thing wouldn't happen at another location. Needless to say we were unable to use the pool or hot tub at the house which was one of the main reasons I rented this house in the first place. A lot of the furniture is falling apart and needs repair or replacing. I wouldn't stay here again and would not recommend these owners to anyone.

VRBO has incorrect information on this rental

I secured this property with the information of it being only 8 miles from the Disney parks. It is indeed 45 to 90 minutes from all parks depending on traffic. VRBO has the wrong address on file. This property is in Davenport, not Orlando. Owners were great but house was not cleaned properly upon our arrival. floors not even swept much less sanitized. Maintenace was very prompt and efficient. Pool was very heavy in Clorine. My grandkids had reaction to the levels. The most annoying item was a high-pitched chirping that we believe came from the smoke detectors. We did enjoy our stay but will not be renting from VRBO or the homeowners again.

Location was good for DW. Worked out at the fitness center swam in the pool (we had it heated) Family had a good time. No problems with the listing.

Family getaway

The house met all of our needs for a quiet family getaway, close to most everything you could want to do in central Florida but far enough out to be very relaxing and quiet. Very comfortable and clean. Michelle was very attentive to our needs and very courteous as a host, no complaints there, and the community is a very nice one clean quiet and very well kept, the clubhouse was very nice we went there a few times. All in all a very nice time had by us all.
