Holiday stay

Beautiful property in & outside. Especially enjoyed watching the humming birds & the views across to Vancouver Island. Reenie was a welcoming host & has a superb property.

Fantastic apartment in great location

Reenie, the host, was extremely helpful and always offered fruit and vegetables from her garden. It was also a fantastic lawn of thyme plants which attracted amazing, small bumble bees. The view from the property was fantastic, we saw numerous eagles and deer during our visit. There were also many hummingbirds which were amazing to watch. The interior of the property had everything you would need on a holiday but as the weather was so good, the highlight was the outdoor BBQ, which was used most days. Thanks again to Reenie for everything. Jim & Linda.

Lovely Space

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this lovely VRBO. So well appointed and all amenities were looked after. Having the 2 bedrooms (with very comfortable quilts, pillows and wonderful night lights) ... made our nights away from home feel welcoming. The Kitchen is perfect for your breakfast, lunch and whatever needs. It is a very nice place to stay.

Sechelt Getaway

Nice home base. 10 minute walk to beach and not far to drive to Halfmoon Bay/Maderia Park. Very very clean and kitchen well stocked.

I love the beauty of nature and all it has to offer.

Why they chose this property

I use to be a traveling sales person and the Sunshine coast was part of my territory. When it came time for my husband to retire I suggested we come here to get him away from the city as I knew he would never retire.
I'm not an inland kind of person. I'm a true west coast person and needing to be close to the great outdoors, the forest, the rivers, lakes and ocean, which reminds me of my childhood with all the fun and the enjoyment and excitement of exploring what is out there. And there is ALOT out there to do just that.
So here we are in this jewel of mother nature and willing to share with family, and new!

What makes this property unique

When we were looking for new our home, we weren't looking for a view. I was looking for a fixer-upper, a project, something to keep me busy.
Of course when we saw this place you can't help but say WOW! the view is awesome. But it wasn't the view that sold us or the fact that it was new. (We were actually looking at an house one street up. And at the time there weren't any homes or street here, just a field with deer running threw it.) It had no landscaping and the rest of the crescent had not been built. But when it came down to it we fell in love with the place and I had my It's still a work in progress, but that's called gardening with some twerks. Needless to say the view at night is amazing with the twinkling lights on the island and not to mention the stars are awesome!
