Tropical House San Pietro - A brand new apartment near Vatican

Tropical House - San Pietro is a large apartment, bright, colorful and is a perfect starting point to discover the eternal city. It is two steps away from Piazza San Pietro, in a central but quiet and well connected area. Suitable for couples, business travelers, families (with children) and large groups. Completely renovated in August 2016. Fourth floor with elevator.
With renovations completed in August 2016, the apartment is spacious and bright and equipped with every comfort. There are no keys, only codes to open and close so you will be totally independent. The apartment is composed as follows: large living room with air conditioning, double sofa bed, LCD TV, dining table for up to 10 seats with open kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. Three double bedrooms with large windows overlooking the balcony, air conditioning, LCD TV and a USB plug for each side of the bed. Air conditioning in every bedroom and in the living room. Three bathrooms with shower, hairdryer and mirror.
Upon arrival you will be requested to pay cash the tourist tax (3,50€ per person for each night). Late check-in after 9:00 p.m. has 25€ extra charge, for late check-out after 10:00 a.m. (if possible) 100€ extra charge. Both to be payed cash upon arrival.
At the check-in I will ask you to show all your ID because I have to give your names and general informations to the police.

Fabulous place to stay

Right from the first communication, we had a wonderful experience with this property. Luigi was so helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. Everything was so easy to use, there was all the kitchen things that you need. We ate in sometimes, and the supermarket over the road was very handy. The location was great -we walked to everywhere we needed to go (got the bus when we were tired) and it was just a great experience.

Wonderful experience

From Sara accepting our reservation to Rosie checking us in, it was a wonderful experience. The drivers were waiting for us and the location was awesome. Wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this property.

Rome family vacation

The bedroom facilities were perfect for our family of 10: Grandparents, 3 adult children, 2 spouses, and 3 grandchildren. Having a fabulous combination bakery, pizza, deli, that also carried small grocery items nearby downstairs was a big plus. It was literally just 2 blocks from the Vatican. The blinds and air conditioning made it very comfortable even through a heat wave. The only difficulty was a very small elevator and 4 flights of marble stairs which was an issue at times for our older members. Though laundry facilities were in the listing, there were none. However, we were able to wash out items in the sink and they dried quickly on the sunny balcony.
