3 - bedroom apartment on sixth floor over Malta's popular meeting place

Beautifully furnished spacious apartment with a terrace overlooking the blue mediterranean. It is located in a central area, 3-minute walk away from the beach and Malta's most popular promenade, on one side and the shopping / restaurants area on the other. Enjoy sunbathing on the rocky beach and a nice swim in crystal-clear sea during the day or stroll along the exciting promenade. In the evening you can walk around the shopping district stopping at one of the many restaurants, pubs or bars to mingle with the local crowd.

The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen, dining room and a large sitting room leading onto the terrace. The sitting room has white leather sofas. There are three bedrooms, one en-suite with shower, plus a large bathroom and laundry room equipped with washing machine. In addition there is a study with a spare sofa bed that can sleep two more persons.

Spacious, well-located

Great location with bus stops across the street, ferry access 5 minutes walk. Supermarket a 2 minute walk, shops and restaurants nearby.

Apartment is very spacious and occupies a whole floor. Elevator works well. Building itself was quiet during our stay. There is a balcony which overlooks the sea but the problem at the moment is the construction of a high-rise building across the lane so too noisy to have the patio doors open. The vision of enjoying the afternoon sun while watching boats did not happen.

Kitchen seemed well-equipped altho we ate out so not positive about that. The electric kettle didn't seem to work but the stove did so boiled water on that. There is an ensuite bathroom plus a second full, large bathroom, and a laundry set-up.

My only real complaint was the master bed wasn't very comfy - not a lover of springs so I put a folded blanket under the sheet and that worked. One of the beds in the twin room also had springs poking through. There was a ceiling fan in the master bedroom but it was noisy - just needs some oil - so we used the upright fan from the living-room. Lots of cupboard/clothes space.

Overall, this would be a good space for a family or for more than two people - large dining room table, lots of space, etc.

Owner's Response: We are glad our guests enjoyed their stay in our apartment, and also giving it such a high rating! We found the electric kettle to be working very well and we suspect that it may not have been plugged in well. We have taken note of the comment about the mattresses which have now been replaced. The noisy fan was only due to a small glitch which has now been corrected.

Great apartment in sliema!

The hosts, Alfred and Laura, were very professional and always available. The apartment was very large, it had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable. It was close to the center, walking distance to St Julians and Sliema port, the bus stop was round the corner. The view of the sea is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay in Malta. Nice Apartment, Great Location

First I want to thank Alfred and Laura for the use of their apartment, it was everything described in the listing and then some! We stayed here for the month of November and had a wonderful time.

Local bus is great to get around, just plan a lot of time for your journey, it is a city bus and they stop frequently. There are several bus stops located just outside the apartment - very convenient. If you're short on time, the Hop On-Hop Off is the way to go. Don't pay advertised price, negotiate. We had a party of 5 and negotiated a discount of 50EU for a harbor cruise and the "Blue" route, open ticket.

The apartment is quite large as it takes up the entire floor of the building. Furniture is in good condition and comfortable. Not sure I fully appreciate the throw blankets on the furniture but I understand why they are used. Perhaps something that is made to fit would be more appealing.

The kitchen is well stocked and with good pots and pans, something a lot of rentals overlook!

Location: excellent! Just minutes from good restaurants, pubs, and most important, the grocery store. We were concerned about street noise when we rented the apartment but found that the restaurants were not loud, even in the evening and with the bedrooms located in the back, there was very little road noise.

Internet availability was good, sometimes had difficulty with slow speeds but nothing major.

The drying room for laundry is actually the back balcony outside the bedroom. Didn't get comfortable the whole trip with hanging our clothes over the railing 7 stories up. Didn't drop anything but that would have been a problem if it happened.

All in all, the apartment is as described in the listing, only larger. It was clean and well stocked with housewares on our arrival. Both Alfred and Laura were very helpful with transportation as well as suggestions on tours and when to avoid the cruise crowds.

We would definitely recommend this property.

Great location with Seaview.

The apartment is very spacious and ideal to accommodate the six of us. As our party of six friends flew in from different parts of the world, the owners, Alfred & Laura Lupi were very helpful in organising airport pick-up taxis at various arrival times and days. Including various departure times.

As a couple of us first arrived middle of night, it would have been great if there were at least some basic amenities like coffee, tea, sugar & milk, just enough for the following morning till we could get to a supermarket in the mid-morning.

The week we stayed there, the temperature was scorching hot, way over 30°Celsius. Mr. Lupi kindly provided extra standing fan to make us more comfortable.

In terms of security, the location was excellent. It was the perfect location to get around to places of our interests, recreational and eateries.

There is a wide range of restaurants also within walking distance catering for different cuisine as well as prices.
