Lovely location but to many irritating niggling problems
You already have a formal complaint about the owner failing to respond to the HomeAway message service.
Continuing problems contacting the owner once we arrived in Cape Town.
Had to chase up the following items :-
Cot and highchair.
Access passes to the estate.
Missing dishtowls & ovenglove.
Second key
Electricity supply off for 2 hours.
Also there was a major problem with mosquitoes.One of our grandchildren was severely bitten.There is a need for mosquito nets as no sprays,rollons or coils kept the mosquitoes away.Air conditioning would have helped.
Basic items such as soap,toilet rolls etc were considered by the owner to be self catering items.
The website listed cycles as being provided but the owner knew nothing about this.
As this was listed as a VIP property with a rental price to match it did not live up to expectations
