A very pretty detached spacious villa with lovely views in Covatelles towards the Montgo mountain and across green hills with only a 10 minute drive away from the wonderful beaches, restaurants, shops, markets and bars of Javea. Surrounded by attractive and private terracing the property lends itself to a large party who like to retain their own relaxation space. In the grounds there is a 10x5 private pool with patio and kitchen area with shade and plenty of sunbeds for hot summer days. There is a portable and gas BBQ for those who enjoy a night in self-catering.

In mid-low season the villa can be let as a 2 bedroom. An ideal romantic getaway!

THE VILLA: The upstairs and downstairs is connected via an external staircase. All bedrooms have access to terraces. The kitchen has a back door which leads out to a sheltered terrace where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast in the sun. The front naya (covered patio) which looks out on the mountain is ideal for the evenings and when you need shade.

AGENT: We have a housekeeper who looks after our villa for us. Guests will be given her number in case of any emergency or simple inquiry.

We enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed in El Rafelet before although on the other side of the main road. Our family enjoyed this villa for many reason's, it was nice having accommodation on 2 levels as our party were adults, a big plus was not hearing the traffic noise from the main road,the pool was all good, we had nice walks from the villa into the natural area behind, and the obligatory walk up to the top of De Montgo. We would all come to this villa again.

Just one slight improvement but not essential would be having WIFI.

Fantastic villa

We spent two great weeks in this wonderful villa. It is clean, spaceous, well equipped and the pool was big enough for all eight of us. After reading the description of villa, as well as all the great reviews, our expectation were high, and it is safe to say that they were all met. We highly recommend the villa for a family vaction. Sally, the owner is very responsive, and extremely helpful.

Our kids tells us that we will be back, and we tend to agree :)

A great get away

This is a really lovely villa and suited our needs perfectly. We were a party of 9, 2 families. The villa has 2 separate accommodations, with all the communal living, cooking, washing and eating areas on the top floor.

The pool was fantastic and well used by all.

Positives:

Good communication from Sally before the visit

Clean villa with facilities that fully met our needs

Quiet residential location

Points of note:

There is no air conditioning, this can be problem in very hot weather, although there are plenty of fans available to cool

A car is essential for this villa. There is ample parking for 2 cars. The supermarkets are easy to find, well stocked and very reasonably priced. However there are no local groceries within walking distance.

We spent our evenings at the beach, walking the strip and people watching. There are lots of great restaurants, bars and market stalls.

I would definitely recommend this villa and would love to return again in the near future.

Lovely stay in a large villa and welcoming people

We have had a very pleasant stay in Javea, the 8 of us thanks, to the owner, the kindness of his local team Cheryl and Amy, to name them, who care about us and have the swimming pool cleaned for Easter time…We enjoyed the comfort of the place, the cleanness, the calm, the little detail, the “English touch” in the organization like the set up of BBQ near the swimming pool or the recommendation to visit the old Javea,

Excellent!

Wonderful villa, just the 2 of us in the large spacious villa. Went for peace, quiet and relaxation and it delivered 100%. Javea is a wonderful place and this location is perfect to go there or explore the surrounding area. We loved it and will go back again. Paul & Jen

Clean tidy spacious villa with good sized pool.

shared the villa with another family 8 in total this worked well as the accommodation is spacious and over two floors.Clean tidy villa with gorgeous views,lovely good sized pool.Loved the outside cooking area by the pool.

The villa is a traditional style and the location in Covatelles is very peaceful yet close enough to the town and beaches. Suitable for our large family yet cozy enough for just my husband and I. We love sitting on our front Naya looking out towards The Mongo whilst the sun goes down in the evenings.

Javea is made up of three parts. The 'Old Town' with its narrow street shopping and historic features, the 'Port', combined with a marina and the 'Arenal' with its bars, restaurants, evening market, sandy beach and childrens play areas. Futher afield is the theme park 'Terra Mitica' and waterpark 'Aqualandia' which are both within a 45 minute drive. The villas location is in Covatelles a ten minute drive from main Javea .
