The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private half bath. The second bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed. This room is great for both kids and adults. There is a full bathroom in the hall. The living room has plenty of room for everyone to sit and enjoy a warm fire in the fireplace or just watch a movie or TV. There is an adjoining kitchen/dining area with seating for 5, and a balcony to take in the surrounding view of the mountains or have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. There is a crock pot on site too - perfect for winter chili or spring, summer and fall soups. Designed to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible! Just right

Everything about this was incredibly easy. Manager was super cool, friendly and easy to get in touch with. Place was very clean. The price was especially great, very well priced and not over charged.

Cozy mountain stay

Close to Beech Mountain

Just have to start out by saying I would definitely stay here again! Tom was an amazing host and really ensured everything went smooth with checkin. There was a blizzard the day before our checkin which caused the parkway leading up to the property to get closed down. He called me within a half hour of the road closing to let me know so we could potentially prepare to stay somewhere else for the first night if it didn’t open back up before we got there. I truly appreciate his concern in the matter! Thankfully the road opened up the next day before we got in but he still called us after we got in just to make sure everything went well with us getting there. As far as the property goes Tom also called me right after making the reservation to make sure I knew about the set up with the beds since we have 4 kids. Honestly the whole place is bigger than the pictures make it out to be. There was plenty of space for all 6 of us to be comfortable. And the home had a very cozy feeling. When it wasn’t snowing the view was beautiful off the balcony. We loved how close it was to Beech Mountain for snowboarding. Super convenient and for the price, you can’t beat it either! Very reasonable and cheaper than a lot of other places. Overall we are very pleased with our stay here and Tom as a host!

There are several items needing attention that I emailed to the owner for his information. When communicating with him during our stay I asked if he wanted me to let him know what I would update, fix, etc. I have not heard back from him. If he addresses the items on my list, he will have great reviews in the future.

Great location central to town and slopes!

I took my kids for the weekend to ski and see a concert at Beech Mt. The property manager was very friendly with timely and thorough communication. The listing is very accurate and looks just like the pictures. The neighborhood was very quiet and we got to see a lot of wildlife. Definitely enjoyed our stay....just wish it was a little longer. We will surely be back to enjoy this property again.

The condo is owned by three ski loving families who live 350 miles away so they don't get to Beech very much during the year. The scenery and activities and the weather are too excellent to waste, so they are offering their home away from home for you to enjoy too! We've tried to keep the rental prices low so that the condo is extremely affordable - we just ask that you take care of it the same way we would. In any season - winter (skiing), spring (hiking and exploring), summer (a cool escape from the heat of city living) and fall (an amazing location to enjoy the turn of the leaves) - 103 Hornbeam is a wonderful place to play or relax!

Why they chose this property

A great combination of an affordable accommodation that is comfortable and laid back and just a great place to be! The condo is LESS than 3 minutes by car to "SKI BEECH." Since you are on mountain roads you would not want to walk over to the slopes. Drive one block to the main road, take a right and travel for less than a mile and park at "SKI BEECH." You can rent cheaply at "Alpine Ski Center" 1005 Beech Mountain Pkwy C3 (on the "SKI BEECH" lot) or you can rent directly from "SKI BEECH." Either way you'd ski out of this parking lot onto the slopes. This is not considered a "ski in/ ski out" condo because we are not DIRECTLY ON the slope.
