Lovely little cottage set in a quaint old village

  • 5 of 5

Very well maintained cottage exactly as the pictures totally modernized inside but still with the feel of a farmhouse cottage on the outside.

Excellent location for exploring the surrounding countryside or visiting Blackpool without the crowds or traffic associated with the city.

There is no reception so check in/check out is auto serve adding to the privacy of the property but maybe lacking that personal touch

There is parking available down the side lane, a bit difficult to find initially but safe and secure nonetheless

A cosy studio apartment and garden

  • 4 of 5

The cottage location was not quite what we expected , and the Diary, our apartment was also smaller than expected but it was well equipped and comfortable and the bonus was that the French doors lead out to a lovely small garden. We had a slight problem with the sofa bed but this was dealt with very quickly by local maintenance man. so we overall we were happy with the apartment and the efficient and informative service provided by the owner.

Clean, tidy, warm and comfortable.

We had a very nice weeks stay. The property was well positioned for buses into Blackpool and cycle rides into the surrounding countryside. Good choice of local shops. Entry to the property was easy.

Comfy studio close to Blackpool

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Mulberry Cottage in November 2015 & because there were 10 of us & the cottage slept 8, we booked the Dairy too.

It is a lovely self contained little unit just off the main cottage. It is bright & airy & heats up quickly when needed. We loved the little garden too, but unfortunately the weather wasn't good enough for us to get much use out of it! Check in and check out was nice & easy & Yvonne was communicative & easy to deal with.

Blackpool centre is only a 10 min or so drive away & the local area has some nice shops & restaurants. Highly recommended.

Hi, easy access to property, studio type space with a separate kitchen and bathroom, linens and towels provided, great little space to just relax in, walking distance to Poulton , which is a fab little town, with everything you need, supermarkets, restaurants etc. Would visit Poulton again😊

Seaside links courses where the irresistible forces of sea, sand & nature combine to provide a challenge, second to none for dedicated golfers at all skills levels. Fairhaven Golf Club has all the characteristics of a traditional links course, including a sand sub-soil, allowing year-round golf, whilst being entirely surrounded by trees & open farm land. It is not only a beautiful place to play golf but it lives up fully to its designation as a 'Championship' course.
