The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need plus more such as umbrellas, push chair, music, library. The location is ideal, far enough away from the craziness of St Mark’s Square that you can find fab reasonably priced restaurants and bars, but close enough that you can be there in about 10 minutes. There is a grocer, bakers and supermarket within a few mins walk which has everything you could need, and a beautiful little square with bars, restaurants a two min walk away. Jane was super helpful in booking water taxis and recommending restaurants too, and was very responsive if we ever had a query before arriving. We didn’t need to speak to Jane while we were there as we had everything we needed. There was also a lovely welcome pack with loads of lovely stuff in it, which was fab when we arrived as just meant popping to the bakers for fresh croissants for our first breakfast. I would highly recommend this apartment, and would def stay again. One recommendation I would make would be to get out of bed super early one morning and see the main parts of Venice without the crowds, St Mark’s square looks and feels very different with 5 people in it vs 5000 people in it. It’s a beautiful city with lots to offer, including the Lido, which if you want to chill out for an afternoon is perfect.
