We were three families, so 6 adults and 6 children, and we never felt cramped. The layout (double room, with an adjacent bunk room and a bathroom, for each family) was great: we all had privacy to get ready in the morning (no issues with enough hot water either!). Upstairs, the large, double-height open plan living room / dining room / kitchen is really lovely, with a balcony with a terrific view. A very sociable space, with plenty of room for everyone. There's a log burner which we never used, just because we had blue skies all week; being south facing the apartment benefitted from all the sun, and the central heating is very good. To be honest, the photographs of the upstairs don't do it justice: it was bigger and nicer than we expected.
The location is ideal: central, with easy access to the ski hire shops (recommend lovely Marie at ski hire shop "La Trace"), slopes, bars / restaurants, the little supermarket.
The dishwasher was a must, and the washing machine was very handy.
Underground parking for our three compact hire cars was very helpful.
As a group, we wouldn't hesitate to book again.
