Sit and read with a cup of tea on the Main Street facing porch or visit one of New Canaan’s many parks for a walk in the woods, a game of tennis or to fish and feed the ducks. Or, sit on the stone patio on the back and have breakfast while the kids play in the log cabin playhouse.

The Victorian Guesthouse is furnished with antique and comfortable vintage furnishings. The living room has warm wooden floors, an oriental carpet, a fire place and leather sofas and side chairs with lots of pillows, warm throws and a big screen television. There is a dining room that seats six as well as a granite counter top with three bar stools.

We have tried to make all guest bedrooms warm, charming and simple. All bedrooms are on the second-floor. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite marble bathroom with jacuzzi tub and steam shower.

There is a second bedroom with queen-size bed with hand carved flowers, mahogany desk, mahogany bureau and built in book case. The bedroom has plush carpeting. There is an en-suite private, modern bath with marble sink, marble floor and tile shower.

Finally, there is a third small bedroom with a four poster queen size mahogany bed and a crib that is available for guests who are traveling with children and wish to share one of the other bathrooms.
