Luxurious 4 bedroom detached villa, with stunning panoramic mountain views.

Villa Cora is a delightful new Canarian country villa on a large 10,000m2 estate set near the traditional, picturesque village of Triquivijate. It is a charming quiet and peaceful location and is within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops.

The villa is only a short drive from the fabulous sandy beaches and family resort of Caleta de Fuste.

Villa Cora offers excellent accommodation for a relaxing holiday and has the benefit of a very large 10.1 x 5.3m heated pool with a spectacular water fall feature, and a safe shallow children’s pool. It also offers a championship full size Private Tennis Court, and mountain bikes.

The villa is ideally suitable for couples and families who want executive standards, all amenities and privacy.

Our goal is to give you a great holiday with wonderful accommodation. We hope that we can make this such a rewarding experience for you that you will recommend us to your families and friends.

The villa is full of character and offers a very comfortable living space which is very private and tranquil.

Cleaning: The villa will be cleaned upon your arrival and all linen and bath towels are provided. We ask you to bring your own towels for the beach.

The swimming pool is cleaned and maintained twice a week.

The garden is also maintained twice weekly.

Arrival and departure days: We are flexible with the changeover days. Please contact us for availability and we will be happy to assist you. We endeavor to allow guests to arrive/depart to suit their flight times; however, if this is not possible we adhere to 14.00 hrs. arrival 10.00 hrs. departure.

  • All bedrooms have glass doors opening onto tiled sun terraces with views of the pool from bedroom 1, 2, and 3, and bedroom 4 which is an annex attached to the house via courtyard has wonderful mountain views. Bedroom 1, 2 and 3 are equipped with ceiling fans, and bedroom 4 has a high ceiling finished with exposed wooden beams which helps to keep the room cool in the summer heat. We also have a ground fan in bedroom 4. Bedroom 4 utlises main bathroom within villa, and access to this is via tiled walled in courtyard which joins the main villa and bedroom 4. The master bedroom has a large walk in wardrobe, and a 4 Post King size bed. Fold up childs bed, and cots are available upon request.

Beautiful garden and pool area.

Villa Cora is a lovely clean, well equipped and maintained villa with lovely oasis like pool and gardens that has panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.The villa is a rural area giving you peace and tranquility.

The roof area is reached outside the front of the villa up wooden stairs, the play area for the children is also reach outside the front of the villa across the drive which unsuitable for children to play by themselves.

The 4th bedroom/annex? is reached by leaving the main house and walking across an open courtyard to the bedroom which has no toliet facilities so at night you have to unlock the bedroom door walk across the courtyard which is abit eerie and unlock the main house so again unsuitable for young children to stay in, it also doesn't have a window to open which you can reach only has a door and patio doors with no fly nets but i wouldnt like to leave them open at night.

It also stats there is a single bed in this room which turns out to be a camp bed the reason for booking the villa was that it stated it had a single bed. Very disappointed for the price we paid for it at easter. In my view the 4th bedroom shouldn't be let and should be kept at a 3 bedroom villa which would be acceptable.

Relaxing holiday

Very peaceful villa in the middle of nowhere with lovely views of the hills nearby. Well equipped, with plenty of seating/loungers so you can sit/lie in the sun and out of the wind throughout the day. Lovely clean pool, well maintained. Vincent and Cecilia were very friendly and helpful.

We added the bike hire and found it useful and fun for exploring. We also had fun on the tennis court which is in good condition. Easy 20 min drive from airport, and easy to explore the whole island from this central location. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Really lovely villa

This is a lovely, well kept villa. It was even larger than we expected - we kept losing each other and never figured out all the light switches! I actually counted all the seats because it seemed so decadent for the two of us (I think there were 27 inside and 36 outside!) Certainly there is plenty of space for a large party. It is well equipped with a huge TV, ipad and everything you could need in the kitchen (including sharp knives and non-stick pans, which are often missing from holiday homes.) There are 2 bathrooms, but water pressure was best if only one shower was used at a time.

We wanted to stay active. The tennis court was great and the pool large enough to swim. I wasn't sure if we'd need the heater, but we were glad we'd booked it (in November.)

Initially communication was a little confusing, because homeaway sent some automated messages telling me to confirm the booking, when Cecilia had already confirmed it. A fault of the website I think. Vincent met us on arrival and showed us everything. We texted him a couple of times with small questions and he was very helpful and quick to respond.

You definitely need a car unless you are planning to stay in the villa the whole time (which admittedly could be a lovely relaxing break.) We did walk into the village one day, which only took 10-15 mins. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you are scared of dogs - most properties had one which ran towards us barking as we passed. All but one were tied up or behind a fence, but we found it quite unpleasant, so we drove the rest of the time. If you are comfortable around dogs it probably won't bother you. There are a few bars and restaurants in the village (would recommend Antonia's) and a small supermarket. The villa is on the edge of the village, so only has buildings on one side. This means it is a really peaceful location.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday, and would definitely consider returning at some point.

Pure & total relaxation

We stayed in October half term for a week - 2 adults, 5yr old & 10month old. The weather was glorious (mid/late twenties) and the villa is perfect. It is remote enough to feel like you can get away from it all, but a really short drive to amenities when you need them. The village shop is a 2min drive, the airport is a 15/20minute drive, the nearest town with large supermarket is a 20minute drive, the beach is a 20 minute drive. The villa's bedrooms are all on one side and the living accommodation is on the other, making it perfect for when the kids are asleep. The villa is totally set up for children of all ages - with everything from a Little Tikes Cozy Coupe car, playhouse, climbing frames, slides, table football, golf, tennis court (which is totally private & beautiful to play on at sunrise - 8.30am ish). We only left the villa twice and that was to go to the supermarket and the beach. The SPAR supermarket has a fabulous selection of fresh meat & fish - definitely worth a visit. Vincent was there when we arrived at the villa and he showed us around and told us about how to work everything and what sites we could go and see. He went above and beyond and helped us in every way he could. His knowledge of the island is superb. The pool is stunning and we paid for pool heating which we thought was worth it with 2 small children. We loved it so much that we have booked to go back again in a few months. Thank you Vincent for a truly fabulous few days allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We can't wait to come back.

Great holiday

Lovely villa, in fact so lovely we never felt like going anywhere, preferring just to stay there and chill at the pool, go cycling and play tennis. I loved the lunar-like landscape surrounding the villa - so much space. Kitchen is well-equipped (great coffee machine!), there's lots of space for dining, both inside and outside, fantastic lounge with comfortable sofas, I cannot think of anything else we could possibly want. The nearest town with beach, shops and restaurants 15 min drive away. We also went horse-riding - the stables are just next door in the village, very friendly. My 14 year old son also enjoyed go-karting, also 15 min drive away in Puerto del Rosario. We had a fabulous time - thank you Vincent and Cecilia!

Fantastic

As everyone else has written the villa is fantastic. Large and spacious with great features such as the pool, tennis court and bikes. The villa is very secluded yet just 10-15 minutes drive from the nearest main town with supermarket (Mercadona).

For anyone thinking of travelling with someone in a wheelchair, depending on the persons level of mobility it is possible to stay here but note the following:

* Bedroom doorways are wide enough but the bathrooms are not

* Lip to get in/out of the patio door

* Step down to pool area. The owner though had a handy man make us up a ramp which was fantastic and let my wife get up and down to the pool area on her own

* Large step down to gravel driveway from entrance path to house

None of the above is a negative on the villa as it does say it is not wheelchair accessible and even with the above, we loved the place so much I feel we will be returning again very very soon!

Fuerteventura is simply a wonderful place, offering enormous sand dunes, beautiful vast white beaches and a sub-tropical climate. The island attracts sports enthusiasts from all over the world for its excellent windsurfing, surfing, diving and golf. Villa Cora is located near the peaceful Canarian village of Triquivijate. Triquivijate is centrally located in the island which makes it a perfect base for exploring. There is a wonderful Equestrian centre for Horse riding, and a Bird Sanctuary {ideal for bird watchers} all just 5 min walk from Villa Cora. Triquivijate offers a well stocked grocery shop, 3 bars and 2 family friendly restaurants. The prestigious resort of Caleta de Fuste is only a 10 min drive, offering 2 excellent 18 hole Golf Courses. The resort of Caleta de Fuste offers a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. It has a large, shallow beach, perfect for children and a picturesque marina with a selection of excellent water excursions.
