Wonderful a good start to retirement
We loved it , plenty to see in the area especially if you like historic small towns and beautiful scenery . It was peaceful and relaxing and we were lucky with the weather. We took our cocker spaniel with us he was safe and secure in the garden. Also wonderful hosts there to help if needed

Typically French, well equipped and comfortable
A lovely Gite in a very quiet hamlet with lovely walks and views. It's in a super location with many attractions available within a short distance, so no long haul driving required. Christophe and Regine were very welcoming and very communicative and helpful. For English travellers, you may need to factor in the cost of cleaning if you haven't got time or inclination to do it before you leave. This isn't clear on the website unfortunately but is reasonably priced. We will definitely consider returning sometime in the near future and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic magical holiday
From the moment we arrived we were given a fantastic welcome. We arrived on Sunday after a long journey , unsure of the French custom we didn’t realise that all shops would be shut . This didn’t cause any problem as Christophe and Regina were there with a cooler bag with essential supplies fiom their own kitchen , sharing bread, milk , and other groceries that would see us through to when the supermarkets opened. Both my husband and I realised at this point , that our stay at this beautiful homely gite would be most enjoyable . We had two small dogs with us and the enclosed garden was a great playground for them , with enough space to run and play without being able to escape. With only a very little understanding of French ( from 45 years peviously at school ) we managed to understand most things that Regine and Christophe spoke to us about. The instruction book and local area information was in French , however Regine kindly printed us the day after we arrived a concise information sheet in regard to local sites, markets etc and general hosehold rules...which by the way consisted of treat the gite as your home, and where we put our rubbish. All I can say, anyone staying at thus gite in gintrac will have one of the best holidays ever, with great hosts, and just magical surroundings. See you next year and thankyou Christophe abd Regine for a great holiday. Keith and Maggie xx
