July week
The property was great apart from the leaking roof above the kitchen which we spent the first half of the week mopping up (maybe 0.25l of water per day). Apart from that everything was five stars.
Stayed 7 nights in Jul 2023

Fabulous apartment, great service, amazing views.
We booked both apartments for two weeks for a family holiday of mixed ages. We enjoyed the location, setting, views and all the mod cons you could possibly need. The roof terrace views are just so beautiful and the upper apartment has a lovely open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room with two arched windows shaping and setting yet more wonderful views. The apartment is set back from the Main Street in a beautiful cobbled yard and is very peaceful. The two apartments were ideal as it provided space for the two families to spend time together as well as have our own space. The downstairs apartment has a spiral open metal vintage style staircase which leads to the master bedroom, which is nice and cool with a lovely shower. The apartments are both in excellent order and in the centre of Borme so everything is easily accessible. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

The best place in Bormes
Can only recommend this stunning property. The terrace and the view over Bormes and the coast are stunning. It was quiet and peaceful, and the house was completely equipped with every luxury that one could need. Pierre Alexande Pautrat was extremely helpful, and made us feel very welcome.

What a find!
Stylish apartment in a town house, centrally located, and all the mod cons you could wish for. The views from the terrace and the living room are truly stunning. And the owners are really friendly and helpful too! The attention to detail is superb and it really is a home from home. Luxurious bathroom fittings, soft towels, comfortable beds, loads of pillows and plenty of built-in storage. Quality utensils, Nespresso machine, chilled wine cabinet and soda stream in the kitchen. My daughter loved the antique school desk in her bedroom and my husband loved the speakers that are built into the wall in the living room. We used the Apple TV to watch a rented film on the big screen -- perfect when the little ones are tucked up in bed. There are lots of amenities nearby. The bakery is just a few minutes stroll from the Belvedere and gave away free donuts to our children. There's a small deli round the corner for ham and cheese. And there's plenty of restaurants, snack bars and ice cream parlours to choose from. You're spoilt for choice with local beaches. We especially enjoyed the Estagnol beach -- park in amongst the pine trees and enjoy the day in the sandy bay. The Estagnol restaurant is highly recommended too, serving fish caught on the day and pizzas and steaks cooked in the wood oven. Our one year old had chicken pox during our stay and the owners couldn't have been more helpful with recommending a local doctor. Plus we had full use of the telephone to call our insurers back in the UK and sort things out with the airline. We rented only the top apartment and on our return the grandparents wished they hadn't had other plans and had stayed downstairs in the Pichot.

Belvedere du Moulin in beautiful Bormes
We were looking for somewhere to spend a weekend with our friends and their young daughter and then the rest of the week just the two of us. We usually go to Spain as so many British people do and we were pleased we decided to break with tradition and try the South of France. Bormes Les Mimosas was recommended by a friend and certainly lived up to our expectations. A really pretty medieval town just 10 mins in the car from Le Lavandou beach and not far from lots of other beaches. It took us 45 minutes to drive to St Tropez (actually I wish I had stayed in Le Lavandou as I prefer it). Bormes is quite hilly so if you are not fit then choose somewhere where you dont have to climb up the stone streets to get to the town. The house itself is actually two houses, Belvedere and Pichot one above the other. The description on this site is spot on. It is a bit hard to find the houses but the owner was very helpful with helping us to find out about where to park and unload bags etc. The house is right in the middle of the town so a short walk from the car. Parking was not a problem once we sussed it out. The owner has really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house is so modern inside with every mod con you can imagine, great wifi connection and even a printer and laptop - very useful for checking in online a the end of the week and saved us long queues at the airport. The bedrooms are large, and have really modern ensuite bathrooms. The bedding is clean, white and crisp. The airconditioning system is briliant and very quiet. I think the cooker was good too but I didnt do any cooking as there are so many restaurants around in spitting distance of the house. The piece de resistance has to be the terrace. Sitting up there with my ipod on with a G and T in the evenings looking at that fabulous view was just stunning. So I would definitely give this house 5 stars and recommend it. I will certainly be looking to go back.
