Set on the Oasis Parque development, horse riding, sea fishing and many other excursions can be arranged. Boasting front and rear gardens for those long lazy summer evenings. 7 Golf courses are within easy reach and 10% discount is received by residents of Oasis Parque at the nearby Boavista Golf complex. The beautiful beeches and lovely restaurants of Alvor are just a 6 minute taxi ride away. The bustling streets of Portimao offer a shoppers delight and lunch is served on the rivers edge at one of the many seafood restaurants boasting freshly caught sardines. The complex boasts 4 swimming pools, one indoor and heated during the winter months also a Jacuzzi and 2 tennis courts are present with a children’s play area also on site. The apartment is fully air conditioned; the air conditioning units also provide heat in the winter

Oasis Parque: Oasis Parque is a secure development with access to the facilities gained via a card entry system. Cards will be left at reception for collection on arrival. If reception is closed a separate digital safe is in operation for out of hours collection.

A great apartment for relaxing or exploring Alvor and the surrounding areas

A comfortable and well maintained apartment ideal for our family of 4. We enjoyed the facilities of the Oasis Parque (which are also well kept and maintained) and also driving further afield into Alvor and the surrounding areas. The apartment had everything we needed and as we already knew the area it was a great base. Thank you Tim & Donna.

Great apartment in lovely condition and a good location

Arrived late and met at the apartment by a lovely lady. Apartment has everything you need with all mod cons including air con, cable TV etc. Location wise the apartment is great with only a short walk to the pool and tennis courts. The supermarket is a 10 min walk (for a bigger shop we walked to and taxi back for €6). We stayed in most evenings but portimao and alvor are a short 15 min taxi ride away (approx €10 - €12). Tim (owner) and Anita (local contact) were easily contactable and very helpful.

All in all lovely property, great location, good price and trustworthy owner. All you need really for a great holiday.

lovely apartment

I spent a long weekend at the end of October here with a friend. It's a really lovely apartment and you get the sense of being at 'home' rather than in a holiday rental. All the facilities are great - everything you need in the kitchen so we actually ate in every night, comfy beds and 2 good bathrooms, including a bath which made my shower-hating friend very happy. Lovely to have BBC on Sky so you can catch Casualty and X-factor on Saturday night (Ok - we're a little sad!!!).

The apartment is on a complex with a lovely pool but if feels more like a (very nice) housing estate - lots of people do actually live here. It's about a 7 minute drive to the sea which is not a problem and in high summer it's probably quite nice to escape the crowds. The beaches at Alvor and at Vau are wonderful.

Tim and Donna are really helpful and there is good info at the apartment to make your stay run smoothly.

All in all a lovely break - thankyou.

Wonderful apartment.

We stayed for 2 weeks in August. Apartment beautiful. Comfortable, clean and all mod cons. Lovely big shower and also a bath in the ensuite for the kids. Kitchen has everything you need and more,good sized fridge freezer and dishwasher. Front garden nicer than the back, and fairly private, great for evening barbeques. Complex well maintained. Swimming pool area spotless and could always find a sunbed whatever time of day. Definately think you need a car if you want to get off complex. Not much in immediate area except a few local bars. However only a short drive to Alvor, lovely in the evenings, or Praia Da Rocha, lovely beaches. A great base in a lovely area.

We bought the property as we love this part of the Algarve. We have holidayed elsewhere, doing the long haul etc. However kept returning to the Algarve. Love the restaurants and bars in Alvor and Lagos and as my Portuguese improves little discoveries further in land in the Alentejo region. Just 2.5 hours from most UK airports a fantastic little escape from the stresses and strains of British life.

The apartment is situated on the Oasis Parque development nestling neatly between the sleepy fishing village of Alvor and the bustling town of Portimao, Praia da Rocha and the Monchique Mountains are also close by. Golfers paradise with 33 different courses along the Algarve the closest being Alto golf and Boavista, Dolphin watching from Portimao, trips to view the caves and grottos, Jeep safaris, water sports at Boca do Rio, Lagos Zoo, horse riding, 2 Tennis courts on site. Beautiful beeches at Alvor and Praia da Rocha are only a 7 minute drive away. Oasis Parque boasts 4 swimming pools 3 outdoor and 1 indoor heated pool during the winter months. The indoor pool also houses a Jacuzzi. Within easy reach of local shops and supermarkets, the area caters for all tastes from souvenirs to the more recognised designer brands at the large shopping precinct in Guia near Albufeira, Portimao also boasts great shopping opportunities. We love the sense of space the apartment offers and with 2 bathrooms invited guests never feel on top of each other. The closeness of Portugal to the UK and increased reasonable fares from the budget airlines made this very atractive. As an example if we catch the early flight at 7:00 AM from Stanstead or Southend we will be in the apartment by 11:00AM a quick trip to the supermarket and the rest of the day spent lounging by the pool. Golf is close by and as a keen golfer we have the pick of the Algarve from this location. The beaches are some of the most beautiful I have seen.
