About this property

Come and enjoy this family beach house only 100 metres walk to Coolum Main Beach and shops. Sleeps 6 people. Families can enjoy their own space and spread out over two levels with decks and indoor/outdoor dining options on both levels.
First level consists of open plan living dining area leading out onto large covered deck. Kitchenette on this level with sink, bar fridge, tea making facilities and microwave. Bathroom and toilet combined. Main King size bedroom with built in wardrobes. Air Conditioning and split cycle heating throughout all bedrooms and living areas for your comfort or open up the screened security windows to catch the sea breezes.
Children's bedroom with two single beds and built in wardrobes also on this level.
Second level comprises of a Queen size bedroom/Parents' retreat with built in wardrobes and separate toilet and bathroom adjoining. Shower and spa bath in this bathroom.
Main kitchen on second level with ocean glimpses is well equipped with all items including electric oven and stove top, microwave and dishwasher. Digital TV's on both levels. DVD player available.Indoor and outdoor eating options on both levels.

Fully fenced courtyard area with external shower and toilet to rinse off after a day at the beach. Double lock up garage with off street parking for guests. Laundry in garage area with dryer, iron and ironing board available. All bed linen and towels are supplied at this property. Beach towels not supplied.

Coolum Main Beach is ideal for swimming and surfing and is patrolled all year round. An easy walk for the whole family. Leave the car at home! Only 5 minutes drive to the local supermarkets or cafes.Pergian Beach is 10 minutes drive and Noosa is only 25 minutes drive away. Coolum is 90 minutes drive from Brisbane.

Everything was there

Great to be able to just walk down to the beach and nice to get a glimpse of the ocean from the upper deck. A pity that all the high unit blocks are around, but we had a very positive experience, since everything was there that we may have required. Often the supply of little things, starting with salt, pepper, cooking oil etc and ending with toilet paper, dish washing tables and kitchen paper towels etc. makes the difference. Communication with Sonya was great and we felt welcome.

Great place in a good location

The property is well located just one street back from the beach. Coolum beach is a pretty relaxed sea side town with a good beach and enough shops cafes etc so you don't need to travel further afield most of the time. The house is two levels, and each level has its own balcony, living area and kitchen. Upstairs has a well equipment larger kitchen and you can see the sea from the balcony. There is plenty of wood flooring, giving the place a warmer feel than most queensland properties which are tiled. Reverse cycle aircon in each room - we used the heating a bit as we were there in winter and it worked well. Perhaps the only feature missing is Wifi, but for us with teenage kids, that was probably an advantage to get them off their screens. Off street parking is available at the back of the house, but a bit tricky to turn around. Overall a very nice property and good value. Sonya was very good to deal with and responsive.

Everything you could possibly need

Alston House is such a fabulous property. Plenty of space for the whole family with room to spare. The owner has thought of everything and ensured your stay is as simple as turning up. Easy walking distance to shops, food and the beach. We really enjoyed our 5 nights here and hope to return. Thank you.
