Chill-Ville - Family Friendly Home

This great single level home is the perfect holiday home for a family, extended families or large groups.

Inside is a spacious, open living with comfortable modular sofa, bean bags, large flat screen TV and DVD player, wood heater, lots of games,books and magazines to use.

A great feature is the large central dining table and spacious well equipped kitchen.

There are 5 large bedrooms, a family bathroom with bath and separate shower, and then there is a second shower and 2 separate toilets. The bedroom with the Bunk and single bed has TV,Wii and bean bags suitable for a teenager retreat. There are electric heaters and pedestal fans in the bedrooms.

The laundry has a top loader washing machine, iron and ironing board, vacuum, brooms and cleaning products.

Outside the yard is fully fenced with double carport, BBQ and outdoor setting, Plenty of off street parking and room for a game of back yard cricket or Bocce. The outdoor entertaining area is perfect for a summer BBQ, family lunch, one section is undercover with kitchenette there too, hot and cold running water. there s an outside bath also with hot and cold running water, a fire pit and outside toilet.

Perfect

Just fabulous for our group of 11. The Vets loved to have use of the bar-b-que and fire pit to sit around and yarn. Very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. Thanks Susan for being an excellent host.

Great family home

We stayed here for a big family weekend getaway. We had a large group of three generations & lots of kids so I was a bit nervous that we would feel a bit squishy in the house but it is even bigger in real life. There are lots of different sitting areas outside and beautiful sea breeze to keep you cool even on a hot day. The kids loved all the boardgames and Wii provided and the backyard was great for cricket and water play. Sunset walks to the end of the road overlooking the ocean were breath taking and was only a short drive to a kid friendly beach swim. There's no aircon but fans are provided in every room of the house which were adequate as it doesn't get as hot on the island anyway. All the windows have fly screens which was appreciated as you could let the sea airove through the house. Grandparents particularly loved the homely relaxed feel of the house and the puzzles. Only downside was the lack of dishwasher with such a large group but there is a second kitchen outside so we were able to split the dishes between us which made it manageable. Family all agreed we'd love to come back again! :)

Great place

We had a wonderful weekend with several families at Chill Ville. It's spacious, comfortable and really well setup for big groups. Walking distance to the beach. We will hopefully be coming back next year for our next get to together!

Fun at Surf Beach

We stayed at Chill Ville in late Jan for 5 nights, our group was 2 families (4 adults and 5 kids aged from 4 to 12.) The property is big, so there was plenty of room for everyone and you can see that the place is a family holiday home due to the decor and all the small loving touches, there’s none of the cold feel of an investment rental. IMO, the pictures don’t do it justice. We’ve stayed on Philip Island a few times and the location of the property is good if you’re after the ocean side beaches. That said, nothing is that far away and it’s only a 10 min drive into Cowes. Susan is excellent, both responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
