Designed for friends and families, this home encompasses luxury, comfort and practicality ensuring every guest, big and little, has a memorable stay.

Forty Nine offers private luxury accommodation designed for families, couples or small groups, catering for a maximum of 12 people.

Accommodation comprises master king, two king or king twins and a huge bunk room/kids zone with 6 king single beds. Beautifully appointed bathrooms adjoin bedrooms offering heated flooring and towel rails, amenities, hairdryer and luxurious bed and bath linen.

The formal lounge offers generous lounge seating and features a stunning suspended fireplace; the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day, while the gourmet cook will revel in the kitchen and its stunning picture window view. Kids alike will love their bunk and media rooms offering ample space and endless hours of board and TV games, air-hockey and for the scrabble aficionados, there is ample enjoyment to be had with a huge wall scrabble board.

For those wishing to relax and simply immerse themselves in this beautiful home, enjoy the kitchen daybed and bask in the afternoon sun with a glass of wine.

For the cooking enthusiast, Forty Nine Post Office Lane has a fabulous outdoor entertaining space offering an unrivalled living and dining experience. Had an amazing stay at Luisa’s property. Luisa was a wonderful host from the moment we booked, contacting us regularly in the lead up to the stay to make sure we would have everything we need for our holiday. The house had so much space, everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped which made staying at home really enjoyable. Kids had a great time with the games and Christmas tree. Didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to visit again.

Forty Nine Post Office Lane has been a ‘project in waiting’ for some 17 years, finally built in 2017. Together with our architect Vince Myson and Jamie Durie (his amazing vision for our new outdoor space), we have achieved our dream and created a wonderful family holiday home in the Snowy mountains.
