This quaint 1 bedroom studio is a tranquil getaway located in Strathdickie, Queensland and is situated a mere 15-minute drive away from spectacular Airlie Beach, gateway to the world-renowned Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef.

Next to this is a hammock with a misting system over head for those warmer days.

Less than 20 minutes away is domestic travel hub Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport, providing connections to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast.
A photographer´s delight, Butterfly Studio has a fantastic array of birds and butterflies, with other native visitors such as the Agile wallaby, kangaroos, lace monitors, bandicoots and echidna. Watch the stars around the outdoor fireplace, or go for a stroll to the seasonal waterfall.

Excellent stay

The property and the owner, Bruce, are very welcoming! The bed is one of the comfiest ever, I slept through all night which never happens anywhere else. Lovely, unique setting. Will try to stay there again but a bit longer.

We were delighted to stay at Bruce’s gorgeous studio accommodation. We had a fantastic stay with our Samoyed and we all felt so welcome 😁 The super relaxing spa pool was a real highlight!

Beautiful acerage.Very comfortable studio which has been decorated with great imagination and flair.Friendly host for whom no request was too great,Bruce went over and beyond in all areas as a host.Highly recomended. Butterflies,birds and super gardens,magnificent spa.

I have run a tour business teaching survival, bush foods and local history for 14 years.
Amongst this I have also worked in several other areas of tourism.
Sailing charters, fishing, quad biking and laser skirmish.
I enjoy hosting the studio very much and helping guests plan how to make the best of their time here.

The property has a relaxing atmosphere and is quiet and private.
With seasonal waterfalls and 4 acres to enjoy.
Butterfly’s, birds, and some unique Australian wild life are all regulars in the gardens.

With lots of glass and barn style window in front of the bed so you can open up and feel like your amongst the garden.
An outdoor fire pit and bbq area for relaxing and watching the abundant stars at night.
