About this property

Renovated charming two bedroom beach house tucked up on headland a short walk to two gorgeous beaches (Merry and Kioloa). Open plan kitchen, two entertaining decks, large garden. Full of bird and animal life. Ideal for a relaxing family holiday.

Great open plan living. Kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances including gas cook top, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Gas bbq. Now comes with wifi and new Samsung smart TV for watching Netflix etc. Two queen beds. Linen, bath and tea towels provided.

A short walk to local cafe, take-away and corner store. Five minute drive to IGA supermarket, bottle shop, bakery, newsagent and chemist.

Strictly no pets and no parties or gatherings of more than 8 people in total including paying guests or deductions from the Bond will apply.

Perfection at the Beach

Hidden House can be described in one word - gorgeous. With a full length balcony off a wall of windows you can sit and listen to the waves from Kialoa. At bedtime the sea sounds from Merry will lull you to sleep. The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need as is the store cupboard. The beds are super comfortable and the living room furniture is perfect for a relaxing evening in front of the tv. The little things that Diana has thought of mean you relax right away. Mozzie coils, insect spray, bathroom essentials, condiments etc. No worries about what you forgot as you hurry to get there. The wildlife is amazing - look out for every parrot and bird to come for breakfast and afternoon tea - and the neighbours are also fabulous. Watch out for Sugar the Pug and Riley the Collie coming for a quick visit. Perfectly positioned for the five minute walk to Merry Beach Takeaway one way or Seasalt Cafe the other way. 6km to the local shops. Thankyou Diana for providing Wendy and I a wonderful place. See you again as soon as possible

Beaches and wildlife

Easy walking distance to two beaches. Plenty of birds visiting - rainbow lorikeets and king parrots will eat fruit and seed respectively (often while sitting on your arm!), but we also saw black cockatoos, pink galahs, sea eagles and many more. Kangaroos come to graze and play-fight in the backyard every day. This would be a great place to bring overseas guests. Comfortable beds, good linen, very well equipped kitchen - which is just as well, as there aren’t many eating-out options in Kioloa (it’s a quiet spot). But do try dinner at Merry Street restaurant - stunningly good 6-course degustation!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is close to the beach and shops, and has beautiful natural light.

Relaxed with the wildlife

Lovely break with the children, who absolutely loved the wildlife everywhere. The friendly lorikeets and kangaroos everywhere really made it. Beautiful beaches and some lovely walks combined with a peaceful and relaxing place to stay made for a perfect short break
