Brennan’s on Fraser is situated in Eurong Second Valley on the eastern surf beach of Fraser Island. The private, well equipped house is part of a complex south of the small township of Eurong and has absolute beachfront ocean views.
Relax on the spacious front decks enjoying the panoramic vista of the ocean and you might see a whale off the beach. A short walk to the beach to fish for dinner and go to sleep at night with the sounds of the surf! Dine inside or out on the northern or southern decks. The house has ample space for a couple or family.
Eurong is convenient to most of the island’s attractions- surf fishing, crystal clear lakes, hiking trails, whale watching in season. There is a small store, coffee shop and bakery located 300 metres north for basic supplies and fuel. Eurong Beach Resort in the same location has a restaurant/bar. No pets are allowed anywhere on Fraser Island.
The township has a fence to deter native dingos so are not present around the house and complex.
Fraser Island is 4WD only. Access is via the Inskip Point 4wd barge north west of Rainbow Beach, then approximately 30 minutes beach driving (at low tide) to the house. Allow 3 hours in normal conditions from northern Brisbane to Inskip Point. The second access is via the River Heads barge and a drive through the island from the barge landing. This second route is not tide dependent.
Some hire vehicle companies have restrictions on taking their vehicles to Fraser Island. National Park permits can be obtained online. Barge tickets from Inskip Point can be purchased in Rainbow Beach or onboard. Barge bookings are necessary if travelling from River Heads.

Linen consisting of sheets and pillow cases, towels and tea towels may be hired if you do not wish to bring your own.
There is a refundable cleaning and security bond (good housekeeping) so that the house is left clean and tidy. Check in or out at any time on the day of arrival or departure as travel is usually tide dependent.
