Main Bedroom (king) with TV and private bath; Bedroom #2 (king or two twin beds), second full bathroom across the hall also serves as powder room. Florida Room with single pull-out sleeper (for child), lounge area, writing desk; Living Room sofa is large and comfy, additional seating, entertainment center with TV, DVD/CD player, and we even have both VHS and cassette players (yep, why not enjoy what you love), and radio. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking, baking, entertaining, or just relaxing in the way you choose. Dining area (table expands to seat 6), large screened porch with additional dining area, outdoor grill, beach chairs. All bed linens and towels provided.

Great house

Enjoyed our stay for 30 days. Close and walking distance to town and beach. House is spacious and was clean which is important to me. House is also extremely well stocked with everything you could need, including sand toys for my grandkids. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Is on corner of A1A and a little noisy during the day but is very quiet at night. Spacious and comfortable and would not hesitate to stay again. Also the grounds are nicely kept and flowers were very pretty. The owner Ann communicated well and is easy to reach if needed.

January in Vero Beach

My husband and I enjoyed our month in Vero Beach. The location of the house is excellent---close to parks on the river as well as a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. While it's on a busy street, the house is tucked away and very private. It was clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. Ann was very helpful with clear instructions about the check in process and responsive to us and any concerns we had during our stay.

Great location and amenities

We had a wonderful stay. Loved the nearness to the beautiful beach and downtown Orchid Island shops and restaurants. Ann was very responsive to our inquiries and the weekly cleaning service was great. We felt very at home in this lovely vacation getaway. Thank you!

Central Beach Hidaway

We left after one week. House did not live up to our expectations. We arrived to find that there was a huge construction project underway just outside our door. When I called the owner, she told me that a new bike path was being installed. After research it turns out a new sewer system with a bike path was underway. The construction trucks with the dirt and noise they bring made it impossible to use an otherwise nice screened in porch. Due to the construction barriers lining the streets, accessing the driveway was difficult.........While the construction was something the owners had no control over, it would have been nice to know about it ahead of our arrival. Since we are in our eighties, safety is a high priority. There were no grab bars in the showers. Other places the floors changed heights.....A real tripping hazard. Is amazing no one has been injured. We also were disturbed by the lack of sunlight in the house itself. As former residents of Central Beach, we found the house to be very dark. Even at noon, one had to have at least one light on. Not exactly what one expects when vacationing in Florida....Was hard to realize we were in Florida...the sunshine state.... The final straw was the imminent arrival of a hurricane....a rare occurrence for November.

Home away from home.

This home has everything needed for a great vacation. Walk to the beautiful beach or stroll along the river. Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance! Home is comfy and stocked with all the essentials you will need. The lanai was our favorite spot. WE could watch the rabbits play as we ate all our meals . The neighborhood is beautiful and the people are friendly.

Whether summer, winter or in-between, we love the beach and we are walkers! Virginia gets cold! So we tend to think about Vero Beach - it's in our weather list on our phones! A comfortable climate - and happy to have you and yours enjoy our place...enjoy the sound of the waves, the breeze, the sand between your toes, the way the sky changes, and the people - so friendly. It's just fun to be at the beach! And this house is so relaxing and EASY to enjoy whether solo or with family and friends.

We live in Virginia and have explored the beaches up and down the east coast, and beyond, for years. We enjoy good food, nice people, the excitement of seeking new finds, and the comfort of coming home...and sometimes to a home-away-from-home.

We've lived long enough to know what we like and there is so much to like about this property, its neighborhood and Vero Beach. I never worry if I'm pushed for time before leaving Virginia, because anything I need is just around the corner...now I'm thinking, "this should be my go-to boutique, salon, beach store, wine shop"...and I'd be glad to pass along those referrals to you as well. That's how a good neighborhood, and good neighbors, work together.

We enjoy hearing from prospective guests, learning about you and addressing your questions. We want you to feel confident about your decision and comfortable during your stay. And, we strive to respond quickly - you'll generally speak with me - the happy beach gal in the photo. I typically monitor messages from 8 am to 10 pm - I reply as soon as I see your message, within 2-3 hours at most. We truly look forward to hearing from you.
