This 8 year old beach house with internet is situated overlooking Spring Beach, the southern gateway to Tasmania's iconic East Coast. It has been designed by Parker Design and Rebecca Kirkland of Bury and Kirkland Interior Designers have been recruited to create this fabulous house.
It has three bedrooms, with two large decks and has been designed and built to maximise your holiday experience.
The white sands of Spring Beach are a three minute walk away. All three bedrooms face east and have views of the beach, Mercury Passage and Maria Island.
From the main bedroom, you can relax in the queen bed, open the automatic blind, and view the beach and across to Maria Island. The ensuite bathroom gives the impression you are in the tree tops with its windows overlooking Oyster Bay pines and local bushland with abundant native bird life.
The main room contains a cooks kitchen with European appliances, great knives and accessories to create any meal.
The lounge area has comfortable couches, an easy chair and top of the range Sony 55cm TV and Play Station 4. A range of general videos is also available. Heating/cooling is provided by reverse cycle air conditioning. All windows are double glazed for thermal efficiency and comfort.
There are two 2 metre day beds on the northern wall. Lying on the comfortable cushions you can relax with magnificent views of Darlington on Maria Island. The occasional boat and pods of dolphins are often seen whilst relaxing.
The front deck is 7mx4.5m and accessed through a 6 metre bank of sliding doors. The rear deck is 7mx3.5m and warmed by the afternoon sun. In the morning you can have a leisurely breakfast on the front deck with fantastic sea views and if the sea breeze comes in you can retreat to the rear deck to read your book or have your pre-dinner drink.
Down stairs has a queen bedroom with excellent views of Maria Island and the sea. The third bedroom has a queen bed and two bunk beds.
There is a sitting room with a large corner lounge, and 48cm TV and a DVD player. It is an excellent alternative space for kids escaping parents or vice versa.
The bathroom/laundry has a walk in shower, automatic front loader washing machine and sensor dryer.
The small entry deck at the back door has an outdoor hot and cold shower.
Guests need to be aware the beach house is on tank water.
The property is fully fenced and we welcome pets.
The beach house is in a quiet residential area and not suitable for parties

The house offers a great base to enjoy the beach, explore the local cliffs or venture further afar to explore the local forests, great wineries and Freycinet Peninsular.
You are welcome to use our two kayaks at the beach or in the calmer waters of the nearby Prosser River. There are strict water safety regulations governing kayaks in Tasmania and the supplied life jackets must be worn at all times.
The house has a collection of board and card games,toys and videos for your family to enjoy.
There is an excellent 5km coastal walk to Orford along the clifftops and beaches.
Local vineyards include Darlington at Orford. Further afield are Milton, Freycinet, Spring Vale and Coombend.
For those with a boat, launching ramps are available at West Shelly, Prosser River at Orford and Triabunna.
Hobart is an easy 50 min drive away for a day trip to MONA or Salamanca
