During this time of COVID-19 we are taking all reasonable precautions to ensure that people who stay at our place are safe from contracting COVID. We ask for your assistance to please tell us prior to your stay if you or any of your group develop cold or flu symptoms or have been in contact with any positive case prior to visiting.

When you need a break from the hustle and bustle of work and home, spend a few days or stay for longer at 18 Mary Street, Loch Sport.
If you like fishing, walks, safe lake water, beach access, National Park, this is the place to be.
Excellent accommodation that sleeps 6, all beds supplied with electric blankets, doonas pillows and blankets. (bring your own linen and towels)
Separate toilet and good bathroom facilities and hair drier.
guest soaps supplied and toilet paper( min 3 rolls) for your convenience.
There is a large lounge area with dining table to seat 8, TV in the main lounge area.
A separate TV in the bedroom with which can be used for games and dvds so that it is away from the main TV.
Kitchen has all utensils, crockery, cutlery, electric wok, frying pan, dishwasher and microwave oven plus your convention oven and hot plate.
all dishwashing liquid and tablets supplied, tea towels and basic condiments supplied.
Sugar, Coffee, Tea supplied. Kettle and toaster,
safe under house parking, ample parking for boat, jet ski,
locked trellis area to hold fishing items, esky, bikes.

Outside on the deck area, you can take in the views while enjoying a bbq, there is also a portable cooker which is great for cooking fish outdoors (appreciate not to cook fish indoors please). we also have an electric wok (kitchen cupboard)if you wish to use this on the deck to cook your fish
we now have a second fridge for your convenience.
Enjoy the views from inside the house or from the deck. all you have to do is sit and relax and take in the serenity of the area.
Birds and Kangaroos make up your daily visitors.
The house is situated one street from the lake where you can try fishing for mullet and bream at sunset and enjoy the great views as well.
The 90 mile beach is not far, a close drive will take you to the surf beach where good catches of salmon, tailor and flathead with gummy shark at dusk can be targeted.
The McLennan Straits is also good for nice bream and mullet.
so if you like your fishing, you have a choice of the lake, surf or straits.
The 20 minute drive through the National Park will take you through some native bushland and wildlife onto the Jetty and sandy lake beach. Bush BBQs available.
The bakery, shops, Sanctuary Café, RSL, Golf, Marina Restaurant are all not far, just a short drive.
if you still crave your shopping then Sale is just about 40 mins drive.
We are sure that you wont be disappointed.

Please bring your own linen. Pillow cases, Sheet, Doona cover and towels.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BED COVERS - it is expensive to have cleaned. If you forget, please let us know and we can organise linen but there will be a charge for washing it.

Getting there.

Please be mindful of kangaroos at all times, especially at dusk on the sides of the road as you enter the town.
Drive in past the store, turn right and then left - Sanctuary Road.
travel to the end of the road, (T intersection) turn right then left on National Park Road.
Travel down National Park Road, past the hall on your right,
BP Service Station and bakery on your right, look out for Toorak Ave, and turn left.
then right on Mary Street.
no.18 Mary Street is at the top, intersection of Pelican and Mary Street.

the keys will be put in the key safe on the day of your arrival.
the Safe Key Box is on the cross beam in Front of the shed door.
this is the shed under the house. NOT AT THE SIDE OF THE SHED.

Please return the key to the safe box on your departure and unscramble all the numbers.

Put your garbage in the bins provided. Monday is collection day so please put the bins near the road on Sunday night.

ALL WE ASK OF YOU IS THAT YOU RETURN THE HOUSE IN THE SAME CONDITION AS ON ARRIVAL.

Security deposit will be refunded to you as per the HomeAway policy any additional cleaning required will be deducted from the bond.

Our stay at Olivia and Peter‘s property was absolutely amazing. view from the balcony was perfect and the cleanliness of the property was 10/10 would be recommending this stay to all my friends and family and even people that are on stayz I recommend staying at this property

Great location. Excellent hospitality.
Olivia and Peter are excellent hosts who made sure we were well taken care of during our stay. A month before we arrived they had already reached out to us via the app and asked us what we were interested in doing in Loch Sport. They subsequently gave us a rundown of events and activities in the area and information on where to fish. Check-in was very easy and the house was very clean, tidy and inviting on arrival. Olivia and Peter had also left a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was very much appreciated! The house has a great view out towards the lake and we were lucky enough to see dolphins from our lounge room on the first day. We were regularly visited by bird life and kangaroos in the morning, afternoon and night. They also have a telescope which is a nice touch and allowed us to view the wide expanse of the lake and also gaze at the amazing night sky and moon. The house is located in the northern part of Loch Sport a a street back from the lake within a short walk of the entry to the national park. It is also 2 km by car from 90 mile beach, which made it perfect for our needs given we like to swim and fish. The kitchen has plenty of amenities and everything you need while on holiday to make home-cooked meals with ease. Olivia and Peter were the perfect hosts. They were always friendly, warm and helpful in their communication. Thank you Olivia and Peter for making our stay a wonderful experience in Loch Sport!

Very relaxing
We were amazed the second we walked inside, the house was clean, had lots of room and had everything we needed as a family. The view was the most impressive. We felt relaxed the whole time. The kids loved the toys and games that were available. We are definitely looking forward to returning again.

We love Lochsport and have been renting there for a holiday so we understand the need to feel comfortable and have the space to unwind and relax.

In order to share this we you we have also kept the rates the same and only ask that you assist us with this by not wasting water and electricity where possible.
Also return the house to us in the same condition as arrival due to cleaning costs.

This property has an inviting feel, visitors have always noted in our Visitors book that they leave feeling refreshed.
It is clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained.
Having visited Lochsport for over 25 years, we wanted to own a piece of this magical place and love to share it with others.

What makes this property unique

We had looked at many properties over the years and felt that our home should reflect a part of our love for Lochsport.
The corner block overlooking the lake, giving us a 360deg. view of it was what we loved. We built the house to take in this view from every angle, whether washing dishes, eating, lounging - the lake is always in view. Even on bad days when the weather is not so good, the view is captivating.
