Tambo Trails provides a peaceful retreat after

If you stay at Tambo Trails for two or more nights from March through November each year and you would like to make a contribution to the development of the garden there is a $25 refund of the cost of your accommodation if you plant a tree/shrub during your stay, water it in and enter the details in the Guest Book as a record that you have contributed to my garden. Tree stakes and guards supplied.
Locality
'Tambo Trails' is situated 20 km from Bairnsdale between the Twin Rivers, the Nicholson and Tambo, 306km from Melbourne. The East Gippsland Rail Trail runs along Kettles Lane (no though Road) only 100 metres from the property. The house is 13 km from Metung and 18 km from Lakes Entrance; with a 3 km drive to the local store at Johnsonville or 5km to Swan Reach on the Tambo where there are boating ramps and many spots to fish along the river bank. It is a wonderful haven from which to explore East Gippsland being convieniently located between the snow fields and the sea and an easy drive to the Buchan Caves Discover the Bruthen Walking Trails, the Twin Rivers Farm-Food & Wine Trail, the Colquhoun State Forest, Lake Tyers or go for a day trip to Dinner Plain or the Snowy River National Park.
Property
Tambo Trails by the Ringbark is situated on 2.4 hectares of park land overlooking its' own dam 100m away.
The Ringbark stands sentinel to the wonderful forests that once covered East Gippsland. The house looks north over rolling hills of timber and farmland. There is a large deck from which to enjoy the sunset, away from city noise and pollution, and stars to view unimpeded by city lights
The house was built in 2010 and there is plenty of space for boats and trailers. Fruit trees provide fresh fruit for guests in season and there are herbs to use in your cooking.
Pets are welcome but not on carpeted areas in the house. Be aware that the fences are not dog proof being farm fences, post and wire.
