Less than a 10 minute walk to Salema and the beach (500 m)

The apartment on the lower floors (19A) sleeps 4-6 people in 2-3 bedrooms. This apartment has a front balcony with a sea view and a secluded rear patio garden for the afternoon sun.

The top floor apartment (19B) which sleeps up to 4 people, has a front balcony and secluded private roof terrace both with views of Salema, the beach and sea.

The house is less than a ten minute walk to the beach and the centre of the beautiful traditional fishing village of Salema. To the rear of the property is the Costa Vicentina National Park and walk 50 meters through the pine trees for uninterrupted views of the national park with its fantastic coastal walks and secluded beaches.

In Salema there are a number of good restaurants and cafes and a couple of small bars. There is also a small supermarket for basic needs.

There is a larger Intermarche supermarket 10 minutes drive away, in Budens, which gives a larger choice of groceries. There is also a Lidl in Vila Do Bispo which is 15 minutes drive towards Sagres.

All linen is provided and is of the best quality, we also provide beach towels. The apartment is cleaned and the linen changed weekly.

2 bedroom apartment on one floor with stunning views of Salema Village, the beach and the sea. Local license no AL/477

The apartment has an open plan living/dining area with log burning stove and a newly fitted kitchen.

There are 2 bedrooms - one has a King Size bed and the other a standard double, has an en suite shower room. A second shower room is off the hallway. Both shower rooms have been renovated newly this year.

The front balcony has the sea view and the morning sun. An ideal spot for a leisurely breakfast.

There is a private roof terrace, with a swing seat and sun loungers, which has the sun all day. A brick barbeque and table and chairs are on the roof terrace - a superb spot to eat dinner under the stars.

Incredible apartment

I cannot express how brilliant this apartment is! Everything has been thought of, including a wonderful welcome package provided which was such a treat after our journey. The apartment is very clean and is situated in the best spot in Salema with breathtaking views over the bay, and on the other side the national park. I'd thoroughly recommend exploring the national park to discover tiny coved beaches which are hidden away, the closest being a 20 minute walk away. Salema itself suited us perfectly as it's small with a handful of restaurants and didn't feel at all overcrowded. Everything you could possibly need is in the apartment: kitchen utensils, barbecuing equipment, towels, sky TV, a great selection of films and i-pod dock. Our stay was centred around the apartment as we just loved it so much! Would highly recommend this apartment for a relaxed and idyllic break.

Lovely Apartment with Sea views

Apartment 19B is a really lovely, light and clean apartment. Very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The balcony and terrace, which are completely private, are wonderful. We ate outside every day and the views are amazing. We would definitely recommend the apartment for a truly lovely holiday.

Excellent apartment with beautiful views over Salema Beach. Extremely well equipped a bonus being electric blankets as nights are chilly in December. The welcome pack was appreciated as were the logs which Sally ordered for us. Fab wood burner very easy to use. Plenty of local information available as well as lots of books and sky TV. Hope we can stay again in the future.Y

A stunning 2 bed apartment with beautiful views!!

This 2 bed apartment was clean, modern & compact providing everything you needed for a holiday in the sun. Loved the choice of 2 outdoor terraces, which both had lovely views of the beach and surrounding countryside.

Salema has a beautiful long beach with a good choice of restaurant, many on the sea front. All with good choice of food and friendly staff.

A place we love coming back to!!

Lovely apartment, fabulous views

Excellent, very clean accommodation, thoughtfully equipped for comfort down to all details (even thermos, picnic bag). It was a joy to get up in the morning to the glorious view and to a light-filled space. The enclosed fireplace kept us cosy and warm when needed. We liked the apartment and the location so much that we stayed much longer than originally planned. Salema and area have a lot to offer: peace and quiet and small, friendly restaurants as well as a couple of bars. Wonderful hikes along the cliffs, beautiful beaches, many things to explore on foot or by car. We recommend it highly.

ein tolles apartment

ein tolles apartment (oben) für eine 4köpfige familie. da es sonst durch die vermieter bewohnt wird, ist es super ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt -im gegensatz zu sonstigen ferienwohnungen. einzig die matratzen im vorderen schlafzimmer könnten mal erneuert werden. die kommunikation und betreuung durch die vermieterin war super, samt detaillierter anfahrtsbeschreibung. da wir abends ankamen, wurden wir sogar mit brot, käse, wein und kaltem bier für den ersten tag versorgt. durch den leeren bauplatz auf der anderen strassenseite hat man einen sehr schönen blick über die bucht von salema. der weg nach unten ist auch mit klienen kindern über die treppen (auch nachts) problemlos samt starndutensilien zu machen. besonders empfehlenswert ist das indische restaurant an der promenade. in unserem urlaub waren kaum wellen da, so dass wir auch mit dem nicht des schwimmen mächtigen kind super baden konnten. es war nachts oft sehr windig, so dass wir abends meist eine jacke brauchten. in der gegend gibt es unendlich viele gut zu erreichende ganz unterschiedliche strände. wer ein auto hat, kann also jeden tag an einem anderen strand sein. herausragend sind figueras (direkt nebenan), tonel, odeceixe und carrapateira (mit flachem süßwasser in der flussmündung). kite-surfen geht bei tagsüber schwächeldem nortada am besten in der lagune von alvor (düsen-effekt). rund um super vor allem für familien, die es etwas ruhiger mögen. bisher die schönste (?) küstenregion in europas süden, die wir gesehen haben. wir kommen wieder.
