Callala Beach Shack - Pet Friendly

It's time to coast!

Just a 200m/3-minute walk puts you on the white sands of Callala Beach, we really are that close to the beach! Beach views from the top deck and loft window!

Spread out over 3 levels & 5 bedrooms, Callala Beach Shack is the perfect accommodation for your family getaway, all grown-up family gathering, several couples, or taking some romantic time out just
for 2.

We are only two and a half hour drive from Sydney airport and three hours from Canberra. Don't forget we are also pet-friendly & so is Callala Beach!

With off-leash times all year round.

(October – April)

Please check the signage on each entrance as there are other rules.

Enjoy walks, building sandcastles, reading on the beach, or going for a swim in the clear waters of Jervis Bay. You can also go cycling, fishing, tennis, golf, and many other local activities including
diving trips, whale /dolphin watching & sailing tours, or you just relax & soak up the sun…

Spend the afternoons and evenings on the covered back deck, with an outdoor dining setting, and a gas BBQ. There's a good-sized yard that is fully fenced for kids & dogs to play in including a swing set
& other sports equipment & outdoor games.

The 1st & loft levels are air-conditioned for your comfort, or you may choose to open the deck doors & listen to the sounds of Jervis Bay in your footstep.

The ground floor is also air-conditioned in both the kitchenette/living area.

There is a digital HD TV and DVD/Chromecast in the main living area.

Check out the collection of movies & games scattered throughout the house & find something to please everyone especially if the weather is not beachy.

We have a fully equipped Kitchen, with

-stove and oven
-fridge/freezer
-pod coffee machine (k-Fee pods)
-microwave
-toasters
-kettles
-sandwich press
-utensils
-plates and cups
-plenty of drinking & Wine glasses

We also have pantry supplies, cooking oil, salt, pepper, cling wrap, plastic bags & the like as this is what we always found lacking when off-holiday renting ourselves.

The ground floor has a kitchenette.

The property is fully fenced so the kids are safe & dogs are welcome on the ground floor & outside. The local beach is nearly all off-leash and dog-friendly.

We just ask that you notify us if your four-legged friend will be coming. Water & food bowls are there so just bring your best friend's bedding.

Please respect our house & future guests & keep your 4-legged friends of the furniture & bedding.

There is a washer, clothes airer as well as an ironing board/iron if you need it along with a clothesline outside (you will find laundry supplies in the cupboard).


THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE, WE LIKE OUR NEIGHBOURS & ANY NOISE COMPLAINTS OR DISTURBANCES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED/RESULT IN THE DONATION OF YOUR BOND TO LOCAL CHARITIES.

Our Calendar is 100% up to date, if it is blocked out then it is NOT available, please don't send an inquiry for other dates requesting ones that are blocked out or for stays less than the minimum.

Last-minute bookings are subject to the availability of cleaning staff.

ONE-NIGHT STAYS have a tariff of 50% of the following night applied to them. Ex: if the night you booked costs $250/night, and the cost for the ff night is $250 there will be an additional $125 to your
final tariff (this only applies for one-night booking). The said amount will be requested through this platform after your booking.

*Less than a 5min drive to the Callala Bay Shopping Centre offers most of your shopping needs (supermarket, butcher, chemist, bottle shop, post office, cafes, and hardware)
* Culburra Beach is a short drive away where there is Woolworths, Doctors surgery, Surf Shop & much more.

DISTURBANCES/LOUD PARTIES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED This is not a party house & if you disturb our neighbours, you will lose your bond. We like our neighbours & are in regular contact with them, again disturbances
will not be tolerated.

* Callala Beach Shack has a strict NO SMOKING POLICY inside, please.
*Photo ID needs to be supplied for the person who is making the booking
* Pets will be approved on application.
* Parking is limited to 4 car spaces at the property
*There is a linen hire service available for $395, please ask for further details.
* There is a mandatory $250.00 (cleaning & laundry charge)
*Cleaning fee covers, vacuuming & mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms & kitchen. An additional cleaning charge will be levied for any extra cleaning.
*Acceptance of booking is acceptance of Standard Terms & Conditions, along with any other conditions put in place by the managing agent in writing at the time of acceptance
*Callala Beach Shack requires a $500.00 security deposit (fully refundable at the end of your stay provided there is no damage done to the property, no extra cleaning is required, and all the terms and conditions and guest’s rules are followed). An additional bond of $500.00 is required for groups under 25 years of age. More than 12 guests is $1000.00. Groups under 25 years old will require a $1000.00 bond. School leavers require a $2000.00 bond
*We ask that you respect our neighbours & only the guests staying are to be on the property.
* Noise must be kept to a minimum & disturbances won't be tolerated & may lead to early termination of your stay.

What time is check-in & check-out?
- Check-in is 3 pm on the day you arrive & check out is 10 am on the day you leave (early check-in & Late check out only arranged by prior arrangement & confirmed in writing, group bookings for guests
under 25 have a 9 am checkout)

How far away from the beach will we be?
- The distance to the beach is a 200m walk

Where do we collect the key from/drop it off to?
- There is a key safe on-site, the code will be emailed to you (on the info brochure) 5-7 days prior to your arrival along with instructions for use

Is there WIFI?
- Yes. There is WIFI on the property.
Wi-Fi is available at the property but due to reception and service issues, it cannot be relied upon. Please note, that the Property owner and manager take no responsibility for the service reception of the available internet.

What day are the bins collected?
- The bins are collected on Tuesday morning so please put them out Monday night (or Sunday if you are leaving Sunday)

What linen is supplied/do I need to bring?
- We are BYO linen. Linen hire is available at request. for an additional $395.

Linen essentials unless you have taken up the linen hire option, you will need to bring:
Bed sheets
Pillowcases
Bath Towels

We supply mattress protectors, pillows and protectors, doonas with covers, hand towels, and tea towels.

PLEASE NOTE we do not supply toiletries, other essentials, food, and drinks(coffee capsules for the espresso machine (K-fee brand) if you enjoy a good coffee in the morning), bath mats, or beach towels.

Callala family shack
This is a shack so works well for children and its configuration works well for extended family groups. Has been done up but not in a particularly professional way. Not particularly well equipped but very comfortable beds.

Excellent house, pet-friendly, close to the beach and pub. Wish we stayed a bit longer.. One of the best holiday homes we’ve ever been to. I’d love to thank our host for being so nice for allowing us a late checkout. 10/10

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely place
Our group of friends had a great time at this place which was quite spacious (5 bedrooms) and the amenities and large backyard made our stay quite enjoyable after long days out and about. Callala Beach was a leisurely 2 min walk along a quiet main road. Will consider again in future.

Home away from home….
Beautiful light-filled home so close to the beach! The Beach Shack is a perfect home away from home that can comfortably accommodate 2 families and fur babies. To top it all off, the property owners are locals and were quick to respond to requests. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to come back!

Why they chose this property

Callala Beach Shack is our first property in Callala Beach, we love it because of the cathedral ceilings & the old beach shack appeal.

We just Love Callala Beach because it is close to Sydney (just over 2 hrs away for us) & has a sense of isolation to it without being truly isolated (a 20min drive gets you all the services you will need), not to mention That Callala Beach is dog friendly as well!
