About the Owner

Owned by the same family for 70 years, the property has been farmed by generations of local farmers until the drastic decline in mountain farming during the 1980s.

The farmhouses, once the summer residence of local farmers, have been lovingly restored to its original splendor and converted into boutique luxury chalets with all modern appliances while maintaining the traditional family history charm. The country houses underwent a complete green remodel, combining natural materials such as stone, marble and wood with sustainable technologies such as solar powered hot water system for improved energy efficiency.

Today, following extensive land stewarding including regular manure applications to the fields in winter and slope brush cutting, the farm stll produces high quality hay for local alpine dairy farms on acres of spacious land terraces overlooking the lake.

Borgo Paradiso continues to promote its cultural landscapes and heritage linking once again land resources to farming and high quality tourism experience.

The apartment was well maintained and very clean and had stunning views over the lake.

The pool was lovely, but a bit cold!

The village of Tignale was within easy walking distance with a good selection of restaurants and wonderful patisserie / coffee shop and at least 3 very good Gelatarias.

Fabulous Holiday in Lovely Location

This is a beautiful property. We had a warm welcome and it has all you need for a lovely Italian holiday with some lovely touched. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Local village has all you need with friendly cafes, restaurants, geletaria and shops.

We walked, swam in the lake, did high ropes and hired bikes all locally.

Great holiday in a beautiful place.

Lovely character property in nice location

We stayed in Chalet Stella for 10 days with our 3 children. Accommodation was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and plenty to do in surrounding area. Owner was very helpful.

Delightful property!

Having just returned from a three night stay in Borgo Paradiso, I cannot recommend this property highly enough. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children, and we occupied Stella and Venere. Both were absolutely spotless, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. The grounds, the pool area, and the many quaint outdoor seating areas, made for a perfect break. With lots of good recommendations for day trips, beaches and restaurants, from the owner, we had a perfect four day holiday, and really felt like we had had a true taste of Italy. We shall definitely return!

We booked for a 7 night holiday in September and communications with the owners were excellent.

We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival and the owners were extremely helpful in showing us around the accommodation and giving guidance on local amenities

This proved to be an excellent location for our party and the rustic accommodation was first rate. Even though the weather could have been kinder, our stay was most enjoyable and we would have no hesitation in using the chalets again or recommending them to other potential clients

A charming place to enjoy the lakes

We greatly enjoyed our fall holiday at Borgo Paradiso with 3 children, and found the property to be exactly as advertised. The apartment is tastefully decorated, comfortable, very well built, and very, very peaceful. The property delivers stunning views of Lago di Garda and Monte Baldo, and is situated on a beautiful piece of land nestled in the lakeside hills. A 10min. walk to the charming hamlet of Oldesio where you will find restaurants and pizzarias serving fresh food and local wines. We loved the hike up to Montecastello. A great central location for exploring the various towns around the lake. For those who like a drive, it's a pleasant trip north to the Dolomites, west to Como or east to Venice. Highly recommended, and perfect if you want that away-from-it-all peacefulness with easy access to sightseeing, shopping and dining.

All Chalets can be booked by the week or for short breaks subject to availability.

At a height of 600 meters, Borgo Paradiso is a footstep to the Sanctuary of Montecastello and breathtaking lake views, mountain bike ways and parklands. The walk to the nearby Santuario di Montecastello, with its spectacular panoramic views, is always a highlight. Located just below the peak of Monte Cas, the walk starts right from the farmhouse doorsteps.

The area offers a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Within a short drive (15 min.), there are beautiful beaches in Campione and Tignale's Lido (Porto di Tignale), with its lovely beach strip nearby the port and the beautiful remains of the cultivation of lemon at the Lemon House.

A variety of guided walks and mountain bike excursions to discover the fascinating natural environment surrounding our farmhouse are available to our Guests on selected dates.
