Great Stay

Our family of Mum and 3 girls all over 18 stayed for a long weekend and were pleased with the accomodation. The location is fantastic! Walking distance to a lot of places to eat and drink and very close to the train to get into the city and other areas. The apartment has great city views. Was plenty big enough for us but then we were out seeing Sydney the majority of the time. I was concerned other reviews were not good about the cleanliness of the place but it was ok. By no means was it disgusting or gross. Dated yes, but then for the price in Sydney and location it is really great value for money! I would definately stay here again. No problems with check in. Peter met us there early as our flight was a few hours before check in which was kind. Was quiet at night, bedding was ok. As I said, for the price it is very good value for money

Very dirty and poorly maintained

Unit was very dirty and poorly maintained. It needs a deep clean and refresh. Major items: dried food on and mold in the kitchen trashcan; dried liquids on bath vanity doors and drawers and on bedroom closet doors; heavy dust on toilet, in floor corners, along baseboards, on tables, outlets, and lamps; dirty floor corners and grout; mold along all of tub caulk and much of tub grout; living area rug dirty and very stained; many chair cushions stained; large chair cushion threadbare; some furniture needs replacement; two broken table lamps; dust and dirt on AC vents; AC vents and filter have not been cleaned in months or years; AC unit is undersized, works if all curtains closed and lights off, but otherwise ineffective. Minor items: dishwasher rack missing three wheels, does not slide, and is missing a plate rack; tiny fridge without freezer space other than ice trays; balcony without any furniture; no washcloths; no spare towels; three burned out overhead kitchen lights. We have photos of all items listed above. Location is close to restaurants and Botanical Garden. Grocery store and Metro train station both 10-12 minute walk.

Great Location

This is a great location. Not in the centre of the hustle and bustle of the city but a nice walk over the bridge at Wilson Street or a short walk to Kings Cross station. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Peter was such a pleasure to deal with. His communication was excellent and answered all our questions. The apartment had excellent views of the city although I think it was a bit too small for our family of 5 with two teenagers and a pre-teen. It would be more suited for a couple although the couches did fold out to accommodate 5 people. Pro's Great location, great view Excellent communication with Peter Full kitchen amenities Complimentary tea, coffee, soap, shampoo Great food nearby 20 min walk to the city centre or Circular Quay Con's Carpet needs replacing or a really good steam clean, lots of stains makes it look dirty although it was nice and plush Grout around the bath desperately needs replacing. Lots of ugly black mould underneath the silicone doesn’t look welcoming Apartment smaller than expected, fold out beds uncomfortable for teenagers. Would suit a couple or couple with smaller children. Overall we had a great stay for our first time in Sydney.

Great location: could use some updating

The location is great and Peter was very pleasant to deal with. The view is great. It would have been nice to have balcony furniture to better enjoy the space. The only thing that really needs improving is the sitting area. Furniture is quite old and worn out. The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. The carpet would need to be replaced as well. The kitchen and the bathroom were clean but the rest of the apartment could use some deep cleaning, dusting, etc. Overall, it was a good stay.
