Our stay at Gérard

The flat matched the pictures and is well located, close to the metro, shops, and cinemas. Everything you need is within walking distance. As mentioned by previous reviews, the bathroom & shower are tiny. Important to note: there is no heating in the kitchen (this would not be a problem in the summer but the weather was really cold at the time). We also thought the place could usea bit more cleaning. Communication with Gérard was very smooth and he was very nice and explained everything to us when we arrived.

A perfect Parisian adventure

We had the most amazing stay in Paris. Gerard's place is a traditional authentic French apartment and was just right for us. Fully equipped with everything we could need and a fantastic location too in Montmartre. The shower and bathroom are very small but we managed just fine. We even enjoyed the climb up the five flights of stairs. Gerard was an exemplary host and genuinely interested in ensuring his guests are comfortable and make the most of their stay. Great value for money compared to Paris prices, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Excellent location, safe secure apartment

Excellent host, Gerard communicated throughout the booking process and was there to meet us. Apartment warm and comfortable with everything you need for a short break. Nice quiet location, just 5 minutes walk from Place de Clichy and the Moulin Rouge. Would definitely return, Gerard very kindly let us keep the apartment until we left at 4.30pm, this was very kind and much appreciated.

Lovely apartment, great location, super hosts!!

Stayed here with my 20 yr old son, perfect space for us. Apartment was clean and beautifully prepared for our arrival. We arrived early and Marylene received us very warmly and allowed us to leave our luggage whilst the flat was being cleaned. The apartment has been well thought out and has everything you could possibly need, and I feel these hosts would try their best to provide anything else. The location (5 min Place de Clichy) was perfect for getting around Paris by public transport and walking distance from many tourist attractions. The hosts are genuine,lovely people and wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome. Thank you Marylene and Gerard for your amazing tip in finding longer term accomodation for my son,merci beaucoup copains, a bientot!

Perfect place to stay in Paris!

Our weekend in Paris was perfect also because of this little nice real Parisian apartment! We enjoyed the authentic atmosphere and location and it had really many nice restaurants nearby (also one for budget travellers {Flunch}). Apartment was easy accessible from Ch. de Gaulle airport and the hop on-hop-off bus (l´open tour) stoped just near the Molin Rouge, which is just few minutes from the apartment. One very good boulangerie with really cripsy croissants was also just over the street:) Apartment was clean and very nice and it had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable;) And now for the last but not the least - owners Marylene and Gerard were exceptionally nice and interesting people, who made our stay even better and let us feel the real parisienne feeling with their great communication and welcome notes:) Greetings to You all from Estonia!:) It is really a place where you have to stay if you need to see and feel a real Paris!:)
