This stylish double or twin-bedded, first and second floor apartment has a vaulted ceiling in the bedroom and a balcony leading from the lounge with lovely views of the surrounding area. It is ideal for a city break or as a touring base for exploring the South Devon region and Cornwall. Plymouth, being situated on the coast and near to the Dartmoor National Park as well as being on the border to Cornwall, provides an excellent base for walking, riding, sailing, canoeing, fishing, cycling, diving, golfing, bird watching, windsurfing, surfing and shopping. Attractions include Plymouth Hoe, the award winning Royal William Yard, Theatre Royal, the Barbican, the National Marine Aquarium, and numerous restaurants and galleries. This is an excellent base to explore the south counties, the English Riviera and the historic town of Dartmouth
We needed a place close to Plymouth Life Centre as my child was competing in a competition there. This flat is less than 10 minutes away and easy to get to and from the centre. The flat is just to the side of the main house in the picture. It is self contained. You go in the flat then turn right up some stairs (about 12 steps) where the kitchen/diner and shower/toilet are on first floor and then another 8-10 steps to the bedroom. The bedroom is large and has two twin beds that fit together or can be apart. There is plenty of wardrobe space and cupboard/mirror. Beds are comfortable. At the floor below is kitchen/diner that has balcony that looks over Plymouth. All mod cons are provided. Lee very good and provided some milk, tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. Smart TV is good and internet very fast in all parts of flat. Space for parking outside but be aware road is narrow so have to reserve into parking space so can get out easily. We had a lovely stay and Lee was always helpful and informative. We have been there twice now and would go again. One bedroom so perfect for visiting Plymouth.
We were really pleased with the accommodation. The owner was very helpful as others have commented. It was very difficult to find the place as my phone did not run the HomeAway app. How do you contact HomeAway by phone in case of problems with the booking?
Totally recommended! Everything was clean, fully equipped kitchen, big bedroom, etc... The best thing was the owner, Lee was very friendly and always trying to help.
This is a beautiful apartment arranged over two floors providing roomy accommodation. The apartment is well-appointed, and comes with everything you would need for a comfortable stay and more! The owners were very hospitable and helpful, and even kindly left teabags, coffee and milk to set me up for my stay. It's a great location, and was perfect for my stay to visit family locally with a small baby. The apartment is on bus-routes into Mutley Plain and City centre, which is very near. I would definitely recommend, and look forward to staying there again. Thanks very much!!
What a great place to stay! Go east and explore Devon, go west and explore Cornwall. The flat is equipped with absolutely everything a traveler could want. I it impeccably cared for--very clean and everything in working order. I especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony and admiring the view in the evenings. Lee is a sweetheart. I had trouble working the washer and he was immediately available to help me. A great stay at a great price. Loved it.
Used the apartment when we were visiting our family. It had everything we needed, extremely clean and wonderful comfy beds.Lee greeted us and had left tea,coffee and milk for a much needed cuppa after a long journey. We would highly recommend the apartment. We enjoyed it so much we have booked it for next year. Thankyou Lee for a most wonderful stay.
