Excellent choice and location
Lovely property and ideally situated very near the beach, and a very short drive or walk from the Marina and Bannisters/Cheeky Dog pub. Diana has been most welcoming and an unobtrusive - but accessible - host. The beds are incredibly comfortable, lounge ditto with both normal and Apple TV. Highly recommended.

Clean and tidy, good communication with owner, easy check-in process, good location. We were surprised to find that the rental property is actually an extension on the main house where there is immediate access from the main house through to the rental space, access is through an unlocked sliding door (this door separates access from the main property and the rental). We were unaware of this as it wasn’t explained in the advertisement. The sliding door does have a sign on it to say ‘private residence’ but the door is unlocked. This made us feel a little uneasy knowing there was free access between the two properties. Essentially, we did not have whole place to ourself, it felt more like a shared space separated by a sliding door.

Lovely place but limited privacy
Lovely little place but limited privacy main living area neighbours can see straight in even with blinds down. There was a heap of ants in the kitchen and no sugar to make a coffee or tea. The weirdest thing was no key was given so when we went out we couldn’t lock up the place with our belongings inside . Apart from that a cute guest home . And lovely little town on the water .

Not good
The host was rude from the beginning, really doing us a favour. Honestly would have been cheaper and more pleasant to stay at Bannisters. Rules about everything, air-con internet use. In all communication so rude. One blanket on the bed in winter and no heater in the second bedroom. Living area completely overlooked by neighbours.

Why they chose this property

Nautilus House was purpose built & had DA approval as a bed and breakfast. When it’s not occupied by guests, it’s my family home for family to visit....I live upstairs.

What makes this property unique

You will get a huge living space, total privacy and quality modern decor. I take pride in the linens I have chosen and replace each year to ensure quality is maintained. Complimentary toiletries are included.
