YMH is a large 2-bedroom family home in the heart of Yarraville Village and comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests. Can accommodate a 5th guest on a single bed mattress if required.

The house is popular with family and friends visiting local Yarravillians due to its size, value for money, ease of undercover off-street parking and prime location being a 3 min stroll to the Village and Yarraville train station.

YMH is unique being the only large family size home listed for short term stays with off street undercover parking and in the heart of Yarraville Village.

Your Melbourne House is a 3 minute stroll to Yarraville village with its cafes, bars, boutiques, supermarkets, specialty butcher and of course its famous art deco cinema, The Sun Theatre.

Rate listed is for two guests only with use of the master bedroom only. Additional guests are charged at $40 per person per night for use of the second bedroom. Recently added, a wall mounted TV in the second bedroom. Guests now using the second bedroom have access to watching tv from the comfort of your bed.

If you are two individuals' and require the use of the second bedroom please put 3 guests into your booking as there is an additional fee of $40 per night for use of the second bedroom.

Great Holiday spot

This was a great location only a 6 min walk from train station & 10 min ride to city. the house is very clean & tidy & very spacious. a perfect location if you don't wish to stay in the city. great restaurants & hotels only 5 mins walk away. safe parking undercover & no street noise either.

Our Yaraville stay

We were delighted to stay in this lovely house. The house was clean and fit the 3 of us perfectly. When we come back to Melbourne we will definitely try and stay here again! The location was a short walk into the quaint town of Yaraville and on the main train line into Melbourne. Thank you Louise for a lovely stay and your help in showing us how easy it is to navigate Mebourne. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Perfect spot for a lovely vacation.

Enjoyed the property immrnsely!

My second time stay here visiting family. Location can't be beat as it's minutes to the village. The home is very spacious and has the added bonus of off street undercover parking where other places I’ve stayed in the village, I’ve struggled to get a park. The kitchen and open plan living and dining room have just been renovated. Loved the new kitchen with concrete bench tops and Miele appliances, it’s a huge and now a modern and inviting open plan space. The new images online I don’t think do it justice. The huge television screen was an added bonus to watch during my down time. Thanks Louise for being such a gracious host and look forward to staying again when I next come to visit the family.

Wonderful walkable Neighborhood

The property was clean. A bit on the retro vintage style - ie stove. But we did enjoy a few warm soaks in the large tub after a long day of touring in and around Melbourne. Overall, we loved Melbourne and the little Yarraville village. The house worked out great for us less then 1 mile from family.

So well located and very well equipped!

Louise is a very gracious host! The property is well equipped and quite large..perfect for four people. In a quiet neighbourhood and within easy walking distance to Yarrowville Main Street and the Metro station. Yarrowville is a quaint little environment with good restaurants and other necessities and only 10 minutes by train to the CBD of Melbourne. We would highly recommend this accommodation!

A former Director of Marketing for a large construction firm, I was drawn to quaint Yarraville with its rich history, Victorian architecture and quaint Village feel years ago. I would never move.... this inner city suburb has everything one could ever want. Just like a country town with its unique Village vibe. Yarravillian's ooze friendliness and pride in their little patch of inner West and when you leave.... you will too

Why they chose this property

Great location within walking distance of all the Village has to offer, very large and well proportioned rooms, spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area that is flooded with plenty of natural light.

Separate desk and office chair if you are here to work.

Well equipped with all you need to cook up a storm, lots of crockery, cookware and cutlery. So Christmas lunch is covered. Safe and quiet street where all the neighbours know each other and are friendly.

A great value homely and comfortable stay in the heart of the Village and just 6km by car to Melbourne CBD.

At the rear of Your Melbourne House is a fully self contained and separate 1 bedroom apartment. This apartment has only just been listed on HomeAway for rent.

Called Your Melbourne House Rear Apartment (YMHRA) listing ID 9740504, it has exclusive use of a large grassed back yard with outdoor furniture, sun umbrella and BBQ.

If you are a group of more than 4 guests or two families, booking both YMH and the rear apartment YMHRA gives you use of the entire property including rear yard. Ideal for large family groups coming to visit from overseas or interstate as you are accommodated in two separate residences on the one property.
