Relax in this Blue Mountains fully self contained cottage with two queen and two single beds (Suitable for 4 adults and 2 children or a couple) . Message me if your family includes a baby or child under two as there is no charge . Quality sheets and towels are provided by a linen service . Portacot and highchair available free of charge .

Blossom Cottage is a non-smoking and pet free property with an air conditioner to cool the family room in summer , a gas log fire to warm the whole house in winter and unlimited free wifi with Netflix . As noted in the reviews , this property is kept clean and maintained well by a professional cleaning service with access to a linen service which launders the motel quality sheets and towels . We have always provided hand wash , soap , disinfectant , toilet paper and tissues for the past 16 years in our effort to provide a high standard of hygiene .

Walk to local attractions such as the bookshop , antique shops , shoe shop , clothes shops , art galleries and specialty shops or weekend markets less than a block away . Eat out at the restaurants, pubs and cafes just up the road. Picnic at one of the local parks or a family BBQ just around the corner.

The Blue Mountains Elvis Festival is on 3 -6 March 2022 , The Blue Mountains Music Festival is in Katoomba 18 , 19 and 20 March 2022 and the Blackheath Rhododendron Festival is on 5 November 2022 and Blossom Cottage makes a great base for attending these events or the Ultra Trail each May .

You can the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens all year round or picnic at Blackheath Memorial Gardens and pool December to April .

Explore the bush on the wheelchair/pram friendly Fairfax Heritage Track to George Phillips Lookout and Govetts Leap Lookout or go bushwalking in the Grand Canyon , on the Braeside Track, to Pope's Glen , Centennial
Glen and more ...

See the cherry blossoms in neighbouring Park Road Blackheath in spring . Visit the neighbouring towns and villages eg Leura, Katoomba and Mt Victoria . Travel up by train and walk to the cottage . Relax in the spa bath ( unfortunately the jets on the spa are not working at the moment ) or curl up in front of the gas log fire . Read a book . Watch a film on Netflix . Sit in the sunny backyard .

Excellent getaway

Blossom Cottage was a great location for a birthday getaway. Clean facilities, close to shops and walks, between the drizzle spells.

Lovely Accommodations

Beautiful little cottage only moments from Blackheath shops. Very clean with everything you could need: three large bedrooms, new bathroom, self contained kitchen, lovely gas fire. Had a great time and would definitely return. Megan is an absolute gem and was very accommodating! Highly recommend. Just a note that there is no washing machine/dryer.

Lovely cottage in a great location

Loved the cottage and the location. We had a great time away. Everything we expected and a little more was there for us to enjoy. Easy walking distance to the village and shopping. Also to Govett's Leap Lookout and trails - such a pity they were all closed! Nice and cosy when the rain started. The only drawback was that any noise from upstairs came through downstairs and visa versa. Will stay there again

Weekend away

Great place to stay with a fully equipped kitchen and wonderful hotel grade bed linen and towels. So thankful when walking into the cottage it was warm as the gas fire had been put on for us on a cold and miserable day, thankyou Megan, much appreciated. Any dealings I had with Megan were answered promptly. Thank you again we will be back

What makes this property unique

We chose this property for its north facing kitchen family area which looks over the backyard . It’s a perfect holiday home sized cottage . The timber panelling upstairs creates a unique , cosy feeling . The location is perfect as guests love walking a short distance to town or driving down to the lookouts to go bush walking . We realised guests could arrive by train and walk to the cottage too . We also fell in love with the landscaped garden out the front .
