About this property

Island hopping on 41 Ft sailing yacht

After major maintenance Phoenix will be ready for yet
another spectacular season from feb 18, 2024.

Spend your dream vacation with us! Captain Paul likes to take you on board his well equipped 41ft sailboat.
Experience true island hopping and chill-out in the most beautiful bays, swimming with turtles, spotting dolphins, fishing or reading a book in the hammock. I can accommodate up to 4 guests in 2 double cabins. Participate as crew or let us do the work. Everything is included on board except food and drinks which will be shared by all. Visa (for foreign visitors if required), medical fees and expenses made on shore such as drinks, mooring fees
and restaurant bills are not included.. We supply : Insurance, Fuel, Sheets, Blankets, Towels, Fishing gear, Snorkeling gear etc.
Food will be provided on shared cost base.
This year we will depart from St. Martin in February but you can decide where you like to board from. As all islands are within one or a few day's sail we are flexible to from where you like to depart. We will come to you if needed. For a 14 day trip it is prefereable you fly back from another island to prevent having to return mid trip.
We do not have fixed itineraries and like to build one using your input about where to sail to and what type of vacation you have in mind; Lots of sailing and many islands to visit or relaxing sail .
We are very flexible.
Looking forward to having you on board,

2 week life changing adventure
Captain Paul is an amazing personality with serious sailing experience and expertise. Our adventure consisted of island hopping from deserted sandy beaches with beautiful snorkeling opportunities, to small Caribbean villages with friendly locals and delicious local food. Don’t miss visiting Tobago Kay and visit our friend Crystal Maria’s bar and Captain Neal’s amazing lobster dinner. Life on board can’t get any simpler with cozy sleep berths and the Captains strong coffee every morning. Be ready to shop for groceries at the IGA in St. George and to be ready to buy fresh yellow fin tuna and grouper off the swim platform from local fisherman. We took 2 small suitcases and 2 flight bags for clothing. We only needed 2 swimsuits, flip flops, a couple of t-shirts and a couple of pairs of shorts. Leave the rest at home.

Could not be better!!
We are longtime sailors ourselves and sailed for 2 weeks with the owners of the yacht. The boat was very well found and equipped with all of the gear an experienced sailer could expect. Many thanks to Captain Paul and his wife Sylvia.

A Sailing Charter to Remember !
My son and I had longed to take an adventure together… and sailing was consistent with our interests. A charter on the Concordia to sail aboard the Concordia around the west coast of Martinique under the guidance of Capt Paul Baars proved to exceed our expecations. Since the first opportunity to reach out to Capt Paul to gain information into chartering his vessel we were greeted by a kind soul, who was responsive, courteous and willing to please in designing an itinerary which check all our wish-list boxes for sailing in the Caribbean, developing our rusty sailing skills, enjoying an aggressive sailing schedule during the day while taking in adventurous snorkeling venues, breathtaking sunsets, restful nights with extensive Spotify playlists, peaceful nights, enjoying good food and drink and good company. Capt Paul met every expectation and challenge with style and grace accompanied by good humor. Always willing to give of himself, he catered to our well intentioned (but innocently overstated) sailing skills, proved to be a gifted instructor, and always accommodated our requests without reservation. The Concordia is a first class vessel, properly maintained and kept tidy by its Capt. Her condition is indicative of the skipper who takes such pride in her maintenance and upkeep. Her galley served us well. We absolutely have no complaints with our charter and sincerely have plans to revisit the Capt and the Concordia in the near future – but this time to bring our significant others to introduce our loved ones to the wonderful time afforded this charter and to make new memories. I am one who typically discounts reviews not always certain they can be believed. Take it from me, this review IS accurate, and we are indebted to Capt Paul for being an accommodating and pleasant host while enabling our dream of an exciting charter vacation be realized. Well done Capt Paul, and thank-you.

Sailing on Phoenix!
Captain Paul from the start was very easy to communicate with and before we even booked, we had a rough itinerary of our journey around Martinique. My son (11) and I went down for a one-week adventure. (should have been longer) Once onboard Captain Paul made us both feel very comfortable. He gave us a quick run down of the boat and its workings and we set sail to amazing beaches, snorkelling, waterfalls, etc... (Due to covid restrictions we just sailed around the Island) I had just completed my ASA sailing courses and was eager to take the Helm. (Which he allowed me to do!) The boat is well equipped with lots of room for a family of four. My son and I really enjoyed our time with Captain Paul and would recommend this to a family that wants to have a trip to remember. I know we will... (if you have RV'd before very similar lifestyle but on the water) Good Luck on your Adventure!
