Snokomo is a centrally heated 3 bedroom house which comfortably accommodates 8 people. A sunken lounge room features a rock wall and slow combustion wood fire - a perfect place to rest weary muscles after a day in the snow or sunshine depending on which month you visit.
A large dining area separates a well equipped kitchen from the sunken lounge.
You can catch the winter and summer sun on the spacious decking that is accessible by external doors from the dining area.
Downstairs has a separate drying room attached to the laundry, bathroom with a spa and plenty of places to sit and relax.
Snokomo is situated within an easy stroll to the local cafes, general store, hotel, bus stop, toboggan and ski run and luxury Day Spa Complex.
Upstairs and Downstairs
Climb the stairs to three large bedrooms and a niche just right for retreating to to read or have a snooze while being enveloped in the sun shining through the many windows.
There is a bedroom with a queen bed, another with a double bed and the third has two sets of bunks. The bunk room has access to its own private balcony. Sevicing these rooms is a bathroom and a separate toilet.
Snokomo is architecturely designed and utilises wood and rocks in the construction to create a dwelling which meshes with the local environment. There is a lock up garage and carport and Snokomo is walking distance to the Mt Hotham bus stop, Dinner Plain ski lift, clothing and ski hire shop as well as all the other attractions of the unique alpine village.
Dinner Plain
Dinner Plain is a picturesque holiday destination providing a variety of activities throughout the year.
During winter Dinner Plain offers ski lift access and lessons to beginners in down hill skiing and snowboarding. There is an extensive network of cross country trials through the open plains and national parks.
A bus service provides access to Mt Hotham and some of Victoria's best down hill/cross country skiing.
The warmer months provide opportunities for trekking, fishing for trout in local streams, horse riding, mountain bike riding, extensive 4 wheel driving and bush walking in the magnificent High Plains.
Short scenic drives will take you to sub alpine towns of Bright and Omeo.
