Why not have your very own Victorian Cottage for the price of a hotel room? 1891 Victorian weatherboard, fully self contained pet friendly bed and breakfast cottage. Featuring stained glass windows and furnished with antique pieces and collectables, this cosy self-contained accommodation offers a living and dining room, double bedroom, separate bathroom and a private courtyard. The cottage is ideally suited for a couple and their pooch. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with all the modern conveniences so it is just like a home away from home.

Conveniently located close to shops, amenities and public transport, this heritage accommodation offers privacy and ambience while being within close proximity to the CBD, North Hobart restaurants, theatre and the City's fine arts centre. Smolt Café is directly across the road and a chemist is next door.

Start the day with a vegetarian or vegan breakfast platter . We do offer a discount for no supplies at all, just self-contained accommodation (please ask for this when applying).

Peck's has space for 1 vehicle, off-street but not undercover. There is a fully secure courtyard, no grass, but with plenty of garden area on either side. There is a grassed area at the front of the cottage and plenty of dog friendly parks nearby for our 4 legged guests. Beaches are within 20 minutes proximity.

Second visit to this charming cottage

We returned to Peck’s in Pine for a second visit as it is such a charming place. Full of period charm and objects, Fiona has made it a very special place indeed. Nice comfy four poster bed, cosy living and dining room, with the table beautifully set for you to enjoy the fab breakfast left for you in the fridge. Eggs beans tomatoes mushrooms, and a home made fruit salad that was delicious. Bread milk and juice are also supplied, and a bonus yummy plate of cake. The garden is a lovely spot to chill and eat in, if you’re lucky with the weather which we mainly were. It’s not far to walk to Elizabeth street where you’ll find all manner of restaurants and bars, Vanidols, Capital and Boodle Beasley being the best. If the hills, and your full stomach won’t allow to walk back it’s only seven and a half bucks in an Uber to get home. A great place to explore the city or go out to Mona the Tasman peninsular and Bruny island. Would highly recommend this beautiful place and Fee is such a great host.

Cute Victorian cottage in inner city location.

Very well located with convenient parking at the door. Victorian themed decor, a little cluttered and dark inside, but everything worked well. Garden was an unexpected bonus; delightful to have breakfast outside with the resident honeyeaters.

Gorgeous

We loved our stay at Peck’s on Pine. The cottage is gorgeous and it was wonderful for us to be able to stay somewhere dog friendly.. The vegan treats on arrival were delicious and a lovely surprise. Fiona is such a lovely welcoming host and we paid for the vegan breakfast to be provided and it was amazing! So much food and we loved it. Definitely worth having that included. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much Fiona.

Perfect in all ways . Couldn’t fault it .

This cottage is all you could ask for in pet friendly accommodation. Outside courtyard enclosed . Lovely historic cottage in a superb Hobart location . Really you could not ask for more when looking for a pet friendly place . And to top it off a fantastic host .
