This 18th cent Village house has recently been lovingly renovated by its Interior designer owner to a very high standard with new stone floors throughout the ground floor which consists of an entrance hall, a very large living room with dining section and a fully fitted kitchen with separate utility area. On the first floor there is a master double bedroom with luxurious en suite bathroom and a further double bedroom (2 single Beds) and a further bathroom en suite. To the rear is a small garden with outside seating and barbeque. It is situated in a quiet square with ample parking just a stones throw from the main street with its bars, excellent restaurants and shops. It is adjacent to an 18th Cent olive mill and opposite a 16th Cent gate house. The house is fully fitted to a high standard. A perfect place to stay for a romantic and comfortable holiday in the heart of Rural provence.
Also gorgeous for xmas time as the house is double glazed, centrally heated and has an open fire.

This beautifully restored house is situated within a two minute walk of the centre of Lorgues. Annie who owns the property was very welcoming and easily contactable during our stay. The property was spotlessly clean and well appointed, and even had its own designated parking space. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay and hope to return in the near future.
A delightful cottage with all the charm of old Provence and all the ease and comfort created by a professional and tasteful renovation. All was clean and well-maintained and decorated to make the visitor feel welcome and at home. It was a pleasure to stay here.
Christmas in Lorgues
We fell in love with this house. The house itself is warm and comfortable. The perfect place to spend Christmas. It is wonderfully situated, literally a two minute walk from the town center but in a quiet area with very little through traffic (at least whilst we were there). Annie was very helpful and welcoming and we can't wait to return and check the house out in summer.
Elegant and comfortable
We had had a stressful year and we were looking for a comfortable and relaxed place to stay and this village house was perfect. It was clean, well fitted out and very comfortable. There is a parking spot just outside which is very convenient. We particularly liked the shady terrace where we spent a lot of time, relaxing and enjoying the local wines. The barbecue was great and we mostly ate outside. The double bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked well.
Lorgues is well situated for exploring the area and we drove to the coast at Ste Maxime in about 45 minutes, and the Gorges at Verdon took about the same time. We visited a couple of local vineyards St Beatrice, just outside Lorgues and Sainte Croix La Manuelle and purchased their wines. We ate out at Les Planches in Lorgues which was our favourite and Chez Vincent which was also good but we felt a little pricey.
Annie was very helpful before we arrived and was close by if we had had any problems which we didn't. The only problem we encountered was our satnav struggled to cope with Lorgues and we had some problems finding the house in the first instance but after that it was a lovely holiday and we would certainly think about a return visit and would certainly recommend Annie's house to anyone thinking of visiting Lorgues.
A beautiful house situated in the old part of Lorgues within easy walking distance from the Main Street. The rooms were scrupulously clean, well maintained and supplied with all the necessary equipment. Tastefully decorated, cool after a day out exploring the local terrain. The owner was extremely helpful with a wide knowledge of the surrounding countryside.
Lorgues is a thriving village with a number of restaurants and cafés. Particularly busy at this time of the year with visiting markets. Set in picturesque countryside there are lots of places to visit. Easy reach for a day by the sea taking in fabulous views.
Would highly recommend this property, particularly wonderful for those who wish to enjoy a truly French experience,

We were welcomed by Annie and made to feel so comfortable!!!! The property was exactly as described. Everything was there that we needed and just a short walk down the street took you to restaurants and shops if you wanted to cook. Highly recommend this house for renting!!!!
Activity and Interests
The village or small town of Lorgues in VAR Provence has for 1000 years been well known for the production of olive oil and more recently as a center for touring round the charming local villages and vineyards and visiting the michelin starred Bruno restaurant famous for truffles.
The area is rural, the fields abound with olive groves,vineyards and goats. Lorgues is the largest of about 10 small medieval villages with narrow streets, market areas and restaurants.Within10 km are Salernes ,Villecroze, Aups ,Cotignac, Entrecasteaux and Tourtour which are all worth a visit. It has the advantage of being large enough to support an infrastructure of shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, doctors, bars and restaurants whilst retaining its Provencale charm. It has a lively market in the main street on Tuesdays . it is midway between Nice and Marseiles airports (about 1H 5 min) and the less well used Toulon (Ryanair Ug ) is 50 mins away as is St Tropez with its fashionable shops, people and lively beaches. 40 mins to the north are the Gorges de Verdon .and Lac St Croix, providing walking, sailing and swimming.
