A disappointing stay
The villa has much potential but it appears little has been done to rectify or improve areas that need attention. The main light didn't work. The boiler took far too long to heat the water for a shower. The bedding consisted of a single sheet (for a double bed). The pool was dirty and only cleaned satisfactorily the day before we were due to leave. The maid expected half way through our stay to clean and change the bedding didn't turn up. The fridge had no bottom door shelf for milk and juice (same as last year). No door handle on the freezer. We couldn't work out how to light the oven as the instructions provided were for a different cooker. Only one bedside light. There was no table to eat indoors when the weather was inclement. The kitchen, the pots and pans. cutlery etc was grubby on our arrival and we had to separate and thoroughly wash the things we wanted to use before use. Overall we also felt it was inadequately equipped. Generally the villa had a rather unkempt and neglected feel.
On the positive side. the view is lovely and the ability to watch some UK tv when the evenings became chilly was good.
This is our third and will be our final stay.
