The apartment is set in the Portomaso Development as is considered to be Malta’s most exclusive residential, leisure and business address, Portomaso has won numerous awards including the Gold Award in the Luxury Development Category in the Best Marina Development Category of the 2005 International Property Awards – arguably the most coveted award available to the industry.

The development at Portomaso includes quality bars, restaurants and shops and a luxurious new five-star Hilton International hotel.

This studio apartment includes an open plan Kitchen/Living/Dining and double bed leading to a front balcony overlooking one of the private gardens in Portomaso Lane. The apartment has a spacious bathroom. The apartment is right in the centre of everything making it ideal for a car-free holiday. It is a corner away from the beach. The Restaurants, Pubs, Cafeterias and Casinos are right at the doorstep.

Linen and towels are provided. Also Wi-Fi Internet and Cable TV are always provided on a complimentary basis. Parking comes optional but would incur an extra charge not included in the rent.

Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night up to a maximum of €5 for each continuous stay in the Maltese Islands. This applies for 18-year-old and older.

We were greeted at the apartment by Donna, who helped us in with our luggage and showed us into the apartment explaining where everything was, this was a nice touch.

The apartment is well furnished modern and clean, the utensils are of good standard and plenty of everything.

The only problem we had was only having one pillow each on the bed, it is our preference to have two,so we just went out and purchased them, but Donna did say at the end of our stay that we could have called her and she would certainly have brought some over.

The apartment could also do with a vanity mirror placed near a socket to enable us ladies to dry and style our hair, again I purchased a cheap one to enable me to do my hair. We brought this to Donnas attention and she took a note of it ,so hopefully won't be a problem in the future.

The apartment is situated at the portomasso and is very central for all the lovely restaurants and bars, there is also use of the Hilton pool which is only a short stroll away. There are also supermarkets within walking distance and bus stop,we had a hire car and its good to have your own private parking space underneath.

Overall I would recommend the apartment to a couple wanting a short break,there is a terrace balcony but sadly not much sun or view from it.

Donna again came to see us when we were leaving and mentioned they might be doing small welcome packs in future, this would be a good idea just to get you started.

Yes we would use the apartment again.

Refundable Damage Deposit £256
Stay tax €0 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the manager upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 18 years.

Minimum booking is four nights, prices will be quoted pro-rata according to the season. Deposit of 40% is required on confirmation. Preferred deposit payment methods are by bank transfer or by Pay-Pal. While the remaining balance is to be settled ideally 4 weeks prior arrival.

A refundable breakage deposit of 300euro is to be paid on check in either to be settled by visa or cash. The security deposit will be refunded via credit card if paid as such after a maximum of 30 days. Or via bank transfer - if paid in cash - with bank charges incurred to the beneficiary bank account [should s/he not be in SEPA country] after a maximum of 15 days. Thus the beneficiary bank details will be required to refund the deposit.

Due to cleaning necessities the check-in time for the apartments is generally 2.00pm and the check-out is at 10.00am however if there are no arrivals on the same day the apartment can be kept for longer.
Also please note that the price being paid for the property includes basic utilities
- 100KWh- for 1 bedroom apartment
free per week with the apartment which is more than sufficient for a weekly stay. However if the inclusive amount of KWh will be exceed, an extra charged will apply at a rate of 0. 35c per KWh. Other than that there are no other hidden expenses or charges.

Cleaning of the property prior the arrival and after departure is included in the price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will incur extra charges. Two sets of towels per person and one set of linen per bed is also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as much as desired.

Long lets also available rates upon request from owner.
Apartment also available for long term booking of 6 months period maximum with a monthly rate, in such case utilities will not be included in the rate. Please do ask for quote should you be interested.
