This one bedroom vacation rental is located on Westminster Bridge Road next to Lambeth North Underground Station. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a 6 story modern building which has an elevator. The building also has a tranquil communal garden for your enjoyment as well as a security system for your safety.

Although this is a one-bedroom apartment, it can accommodate more than expected due to a fully sprung double sofa bed and a further fold up chair bed for a fifth person in the living room. The open layout includes a fully equipped modern kitchen as well as a designated dining area. The spacious bedroom has a kingsize bed. Laundry facilities are conveniently located inside the apartment. There is also a deep soak bathtub for your relaxation after a long day of exploring the wonderful city of London!

Fresh linen and towels provided and free internet wifi.

Second time we have stayed here (from Australia) and will happily do so again.

Clean, everything you need, friendly and trustworthy owners, great local shops and cafe's, a few steps from underground station and bus stops and only10 min walk to Waterloo station for overground trains.

Only one tiny niggle, the pillows were a bit lumpy - however I've no doubt that if we'd mentioned it to Jamie at the time, they would have been replaced.

We've now stayed in both summer and winter. Summer - the windows open for a beautiful breeze and fans are also there if required. Winter - the flat is snug as a bug in a rug - lovely to come home to.

It had all you needed.

Clean and cozy apartment. Walkable distance to the London Eye, Big Ben, and Westminster Abby. Loved having a washer and kitchen. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment to everyone. Felt very safe. Thank you so much.

Great location, quiet flat.

It is a great apartment, fits 4, quiet at night, and in walking distance to all monuments and sightseeing, and if you´re tired the tube is just two doors away. We had a great vacation, and communication with Jamie was always fast and easy.

Convenient for a tourist family of 4. Within 5 min of sightseeing

Convenient to 24 hour bus stations and tube. With a travel card, seeing the city by bus is a breeze. Pubs, bike station and food markets are nearby, too. Nice to be able to cook and eat meals and reflect on the day. Building felt secure and modern. 5 min walk to Waterloo station and to Westminster bridge. Flat screen TV in each room. WiFi was fast and convenient. Sherry, who met us, was really helpful. Would stay again.

London was HOT during our stay, so we needed to leave the windows open for cool air. Ambulances headed to nearby hospital would run with their sirens throughout the night. If you close the windows, the apartment is quiet.

Awesome stay in London!

This was our first trip to London with our 3 kids, and this apartment was perfect for us! We loved the location. It is located right next to the underground and within walking distance to the London Eye, Big Ben, Parliament, Jubilee Gardens, etc. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and a supermarket just a few steps away to grab necessities. The apartment is cozy, clean and well-maintained. Jamie and his colleague, Sherry are very helpful and responsive to any inquiries and needs. I highly recommend this place for your visit to London!

Repeat stay solidifies our prior five star rating

We returned to Jamie’s wonderful apartment in January and February 2016 for 25 nights. We want to repeat all the positive comments we made after our first visit in the same period in 2015. Like most of Jamie’s guests, we were impressed by the large group of very positive reviews, and felt that our chances of a positive experience were pretty good. That was an understatement. We booked our second stay before we left last year, and booked our third stay for next year before we left this time.

Jamie provides a professionally organized and dependable rental of a great apartment in a great location. The quality of accommodation and service is comparable to what you would expect of any corporate owner. The bonus is that you are dealing with real people who greet you and treat you like friends and neighbors. Jamie and his wonderful employee Sherry are there when you need them, which is very infrequently because the place is so well set up.

This apartment is exactly what we look for when we search HomeAway, and you can book this place with confidence.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Train : Lambeth North Underground, Waterloo Station at 20 Metres Car: not necessary

The apartment is situated in Lambeth North, a great location that provides a variety of many things to do and see.

In the immediate vicinity of this apartment there are various restaurants such as the Italian restaurant Cotto (www.italiancotto.co.uk) across the road and the delicious Cuban restaurant, Cubana (www.cubana.co.uk). To really submerge yourself in the British culture you could check out the pub, The Horse and Stables (www.thehorseandstables.co.uk) or the the Three Stags (www.thethreestags.london) for the best Sunday Roast Dinner around.

Local street Lower Marsh has a daily street food market as well as many independent retail shops and cafes, bars and restaurants. Greensmiths (www.greensmithsfood.co.uk) is a local supermarket with a real difference – a butcher, a baker, a greengrocer, a coffee specialist, and a wine merchant. The famous Marie's cafe serves traditional English breakfasts by day and home made thai food in the evening.

For those who enjoy relaxing in the park, look no further than Archbishops Park which has a huge children's playground for all ages. The beautiful Jubilee Gardens in front of the London Eye has a park and climbing equipment.

Nearby are many tourist attractions such as Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel. If you enjoy museums don't miss out on the Imperial War Museum and gardens, but if you prefer theatre, make sure you attend the National Theatre or the Old Vic Theatre. This apartment is only 20 metres from Lambeth North Tube station which gives you easy access to the Bakerloo Line allowing you to have fast transport within and around the city – 10 minutes to Oxford Circus and 20 minutes to Westfield Shopping Centre. A bus stop opposite the apartment allows you to hop on the 148 bus and take a direct trip to Buckingham Palace. This vacation rental is in the centre of London, a perfect place for you to come home to after you explore the city!
