Excellent Accomodations and wonderful view

Our recent stay at Benny's Croix de Garde was excellent. The apartment was clean and in good condition. The patio was large and had an awesome view of the Mediterranean. The complex was gated and the unit came with parking. Benny was helpful in providing some local information on Cannes for us as well. One comment please provide washer and dryer instructions in English. Lol We had to look up a few things before using it. Glenn

Sehr schön ausgestattete Wohnung über den Dächern von Cannes

Die Wohnung liegt in einer Wohnanlage mit zwei Pools. ( Wasser ist zwar kalt aber von guter Qualität) Die Terrasse hat einen schönen Blick und wir haben viele schöne Morgende und Abende hier verbracht.

Sehr angenehm zum Wohnen.

Very comfortable apartment, had a great stay, would have loved to stay longer

We, family with 2 children (7 and 10), had a really nice stay at this apartment. It is exactly as in the pictures. The view and terrace are amazing, having 2 seperate bedrooms was very comfortable and a good size living and kitchen with everything you need, made our stay very relaxed. The airconditioning was working properly and is powerfull. There were a good washingmachine / dishwasher and the kitchen was fully equiped with plenty of plates, pots, pans, glasses, cutlery etc... so no need to do the dishes after every meal.

People tend to leave some of their groceries behind, which is nice so you will never arrive in an empty apartment. And we believe the owner takes care of some of it as well. When we got there, we found handsoap, toiletpaper, jam, salt/ pepper, olive oil etc... So in return we left some of our groceries as well for the comfort of the next guests....

There are 2 (basic) swimmingpools: 1 right nexto the apartment and 1 around the blok. The site Manager is very strict and keeps an eye on everybody.

Some points of attention: The apartment is up in the hills and therfore has an incredible view, however it also means that a walk to the beach and bakery isn't easy and long (on a daily basis). We got there by car (Chrysler 300C) which did not fit into the private parking garage that comes with the apartment. So if you travel by plane, you will need a (small) rental car. And if you travel by (big) car, you might end up parking your car in the parkinglot outside the premises (which is for visitors) right in front of the gateway. When picking up and returning the keys (upon arrival and departure) this is done at an address in the center of Cannes. Which is a 10-15 minute drive (depending on the traffic), could take longer in rush hours. We left the apartment very early in the morning and had to go up and down the elevator a few times. Some people in the building weren't amused cause the noise of the elevator disturbed their sleep. Not our fault, but the apartment building can be somewhat noisy at those early moments. Especially when everybody sleeps with their windows open to get some air. I had the feeling we were the only ones in the entire building with airconditioning and could sleep quietly with our windows closed (Lucky us ;-))

In other words; we had a great stay and would have stayed longer if the apartment wasn't fully booked right after us. Will we consider to return? Definately!

Fantastisk lejlighed med stor terrasse med havudsigt.

Fantastisk og velindrettet lejlighed, der står helt som vist på billederne. Den store terrasse har udsigt udover bugten og er badet i sol i løbet af dagen. Der er spisebord og loungeområde på terrassen og en stor markise, der gør at man sagtens kan sidde der i løbet af dagen. Området omkring lejligheden har lidt små parker og to dejlige pools. Virkelig dejlig lejlighed der absolut kan anbefales til en børnefamilie. Den er lokaliseret lidt oppe af bjergskråningen, og hvis man har barnevogn eller klapvogn med, er det svært at komme rundt uden bil.

Superschöne Ferienwohnung mit wahnsinns Ausblick!

Alle Angaben in der Beschreibung passten genau. Lage mit dem Ausblick einmalig. Ferienwohnung sauber und bestens ausgestattet (ausser Kaffeemaschine die gabs leider nicht). Ich würde diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen, Vermieter sehr nett, Schlüsselübergabe, auch zur verspäteten Ankunft, perfekt. Vielen Dank.
