The Perfect Chamonix Ski Apartment!

Have the skiing and the town centre two mins from the door, yet stay in a quiet residence with little chance of disturbance, plus benefit from a sunny garden to play in with a view of Mont Blanc, a ski locker and an underground lockable garage!

We can't think what else you might need for a ski holiday in Chamonix!

Picasso is a brilliant 2 bedroom ski apartment for families and friends in the heart of Chamonix town. Walk 200m to the lift, the shops or the bars, or enjoy this quiet corner of town from your sunny garden as you gaze up on Mont Blanc.

Situated on the ground floor of the building the apartment has been vibrantly, but tastefully decorated to create a cosy, yet modern atmosphere.

The apartment consists of an open-plan living area with large sofa that turns into a double bed, a dining table for six and a well equipped kitchen.

Off the living area is a short corridor from which lead the two double bedrooms. Please note that these beds can only be made up as doubles but an extra single bed is available in one room on request.

Each bedroom has built-in wardrobes offering plenty of storage.

The apartment has a bathroom with shower/bath, toilet and washing machine.

The living room doors open on to a small south-facing garden that faces the slopes Mont Blanc.

The apartment also benefits from its own underground garage and independent ski locker.

Travel cot and high chair available - please contact Mont Blanc Retreats for availability.

Linen/towels and end of stay cleaning are included in the price. Mid week change can be provided at an additional charge as can a chef/maid service.

Chamonix is both a world famous adventure sports mecca attracting skiers, snowboarders, climbers, para gliders and mountain bikers from around the world.

Situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest point in western Europe, Chamonix is a thriving town with plenty to do for everyone. Chamonix high street sports fantastic bars, restaurants and shops and the town is just as frequented by sightseers and tourists keen to gaze up at some of Europe's most dramatic landscapes as it is by hardcore mountain enthusiasts.

Apartment Picasso is situated right at the end of the high street allowing you to walk into the heart of Chamonix in just a couple of minutes.

Skiing can be reached on foot or via the free bus service that circulates the valley linking the ski resorts of Le Tour, Grand Montets, La Flegere, Brevent and Les Houches.

We felt very welcome here at the Picasso! We were even greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, which was so nice. The location was AMAZING...could not have been better for our family of four. It was great to be on the ground level with the garden right out back so the kids could play in the snow safely while we drank wine inside! The apartment is right in town, near all the restaurants and bars, yet was very quiet. Only a two minute walk to the grocery store, right next to the ski rental shop, and within walking distance to the Savoy ski school for our kids and we could take off up the mountain ourselves from there. We were worried about the bell tower from the church keeping us up at night, but we only heard it during the day! We slept great and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable, with a gorgeous view right out to the church.

Great location and lots of space

A very positive impression - our feelings about the flat really echo those of Marcus S. in September 2014.

We also thought it offered us generous living space, especially for a holiday rental, and the private garden was a real bonus.

As we we were two couples , we would have preferred a double bed in the second bedroom (as advertised at the time) rather than the recently installed bunk bed, but it wasn't a major problem.

Perfect Chamonix location

We rented this apartment for a week in the summer of 2014. It is only 100m from the main square and tourist office so access to town is really easy. Surprisingly it's not noisy though as you have enough distance between you and the high street so as to not hear any late night revellers.

The garden is really handy as it us sunk behind a wall and hedge so no one looks in on you.

We really appreciated the garage too as free parking is an issue in Chamonix.

The management company were easy to deal with, the transaction was simple and the place spotless.

We'd happily recommend this place to friends and would love to come back and stay again.

We agree thatApartment Picasso is a fantastic option for people wanting to stay in Chamonix and be close to the hustle and bustle of the town, but away from the noise of the bars and restaurants. This and Apartment Solomon http://www.homeaway.co.uk/p1507960 are the closest we have to the town centre and the ski lift at Le Savoy and both are worth considering if you looking for an apartment of this size in Chamonix.
