Extremely Disappointing Experience – Do Not Recommend
I had the misfortune of staying at this property and feel compelled to share my experience to prevent others from facing a similarly unpleasant situation. My stay at this property in Rochester was prompted by the need for treatment at the Mayo Clinic, a situation that was stressful enough without having to deal with the issues I encountered during my stay.
While the neighborhood was lovely, the positives ended there. The house turned out to be a nightmare. We stepped inside & were hit with an overwhelming smell of bleach and harsh cleaning agents. Attempts to ventilate the space were futile due to windows that were painted shut.
The cleanliness of the house was abysmal. The pillows were stained and the floors were so filthy that our socks turned black from walking on the carpet. The mattresses were covered with plastic, making the beds uncomfortable. The towels and washcloths provided were worn out, with holes & frayed edges, & the bathroom had mold in the tub and a visibly dirty bath mat.
The refrigerator wouldn’t close properly due to a faulty seal, and there were hairs on the dinner plates. When these issues were brought to the attention of Denise, we were met with hostility. Her proposed solution was to send a housekeeper out. It was evident that these issues would require significant changes-replacing mattresses, fixing windows, providing proper linens. I urge anyone considering this property to look elsewhere for a comfortable & clean stay.
