You wish to visit the LOT Terre des Merveilles; this nicely decorated, quiet, very bright, very well equipped apartment,
located on the banks of the LOT river and practically in the city center will be your home port.
You are located 7 minutes walk from the town hall (city center).
On its large terrace you can admire boating, the VALENTRE bridge and its night lights, but you can also have barbecue evenings.
You will not be disturbed by the noise of vehicles, trains or planes but perhaps by the tumult of water on the pavement or the slight purring of the micro power plant.

If you like walking, fishing, archaeological sites, old stones, cellars, underground caves, swimming, boating, sports and cultural activities, good small and large restaurants, all these activities will be within your reach .
Closed parking and garage, easy to access at the foot of the secure residence.

Apartment well exposed, bright, well equipped. The integrated kitchen has a very large work surface treated antibacterial. A large air-conditioned living room opens directly onto the terrace.
Both bedrooms have views of the Lot. The decoration has been neat.
The bathroom is bright and pleasant.
This apartment is located in CAHORS, one of the GREAT SITES OF OCCITANIA.
It is a city of ART AND HISTORY; , labeled OUTSTANDING GARDEN by the Ministry of Culture and Communication, its gardens are very neat.
CAHORS is at the crossroads going to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.
The VALENTRE BRIDGE and the SAINT ETIENNE cathedral are listed in the UNESCO directory, don't wait any longer to come and discover them.

Through its gastronomy, we can taste or discover the black truffle, foie gras, Cahors wine, little Rocamadour goat cheese, saffron, walnuts, Quercy lamb, pastis (cake) ...

Apartment stay
Excellent location in Cahors with a very pretty outlook. Good base for exploring this lovely region. Bbq and outside furniture has been a plus. Spacious apartment ideal for 4.

Great Holiday!!
The flat was just right! Comfortable, easy to live in and very well equipped. (There is no lift as mentioned in the details, not that you need one.) Cahors was a lovely town, and the flat in a great location overlooking the river and Pont Valentre. There were great places to swim and kayak in the Lot valley and it was exceptionally pretty with relatively few tourists. We agreed it was the best holiday we had had in France for many years.

Excellent Apartment in Cahors
This a spacious and very well equipped apartment within 10-15 mins walking distance of the centre of Cahors, and the Pont Valentré practically on the doorstep. Our visit was in November, so we didn't manage to use the spacious balcony with barbecue - but that would be superb in summer. The apartment has an excellent kitchen with more equipment than most people will need - and don't miss Les Halles for shopping, we even managed to buy fresh real Perigord truffles! Nelly & Alain made us very welcome and couldn't do enough to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. If you need a 2 bed apartment in Cahors then this one can be highly recommended and we'll stay here again if we return to Cahors.

A wonderful apartment with every home comfort and amazing view
From the warmest of welcomes from our hosts we could not have wished for more from our stay in this lovely apartment. The owners really had thought of everything and it was obvious from their welcome that they wanted us to enjoy our stay. The apartment is spacious and furnished to a very high standard. We encountered a real heatwave during our stay so the air conditioning was an essential luxury. Eating out on the balcony in the evening and watching the Pont Valentre was truly unforgettable. The town centre is just a 10 minute or so walk away and there is a lovely footpath right from the door around the riverside to the historic quarter of Cahors. There are a few basic shops within walking distance but the supermarket was an easy 10 minute drive away for big shops.

Excellent apartment in great location
We stayed for a week in this very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment. While the bedrooms are a little small, the living areas are huge – particularly the lounge/TV room and the outside deck. The recently renovate kitchen has high quality fittings and equipment – including dishwasher and clothes washing machine. The kitchen cupboards are stocked with basic food items such as salt/pepper/cooking oil/flour/sugar/etc. The furniture is good quality and comfortable – as were the beds. The apartment is very well stocked with crockery, glasses and cooking equipment. There is a gas BBQ provided on the deck, along with outdoor furniture and shade awnings and umbrellas. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient. The TV has a fair range of channels - but no English. The internet service was very good – reliable and good speed. A bonus was the private lock-up garage under the apartment as parking in the area can be difficult. The location is another of the apartment’s key features. The internet photos depicting a wonderful view of the Pont are absolutely accurate. The Pont and all its surrounding parkland and walking paths are within 2 minutes walk. The walk to the old town centre is about 10 minutes. There are also river views to the South. Our apartment had the minor misfortune of being directly in line with the small hydro plant on the river bank in front. It blocked out part of the river view directly in front - it was a slight annoyance rather than a big issue. The owner’s next door apartment does not have this obstruction. The hydro plant does make some whining noise, but it is minimal when on the deck and absolutely silent inside the apartment. Cahors is a lovely town in itself, but it is also well located for day trips to the many nearby attractions. The owners are lovely people. They were waiting for us at the apartment at the agreed time and gave us a complete run-down on how to use everything. No trouble with payment or refund of security deposit. If there is a negative to this apartment it would be the west facing aspect of the deck. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon to admire the great views is not possible at some times because of the angle of the sun. Only a small issue – we enjoyed many breakfasts and lunches on the deck during the shaded hours. We can thoroughly recommend this apartment.
